Other then the setup being a bit confusing, I have no complaints, the sound quality is excellent.

Had problems getting the zone 2 to work properly, but after calling the Pioneer help line, correcting the problem only took a few minutes while on the phone. Found the instruction manual disjointed.

I had to replace my high end home theater surround system. I found this on sale and have never looked back.

Great receiver for the price, great sound can asked for more, that all I need for home stereo.

Can't go wrong with Pioneer Elite Quality and this model has lots of options.

It works great and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

returned it for a dennon it was alot easier to use. Pioneer had to many functions to use. it did however have alot of watts

This is a great receiver with many options and excellent sound quality. It is listed as a 7.1 receiver but it does have 2 subwoofer outputs. Also to note, this receiver does NOT support Dolby Atmos (even though the sales person told me it did..)

This receiver has truly amazing sound, even playing TV, music at the lowest possible level. Friends have even been awed by it. HOWEVER, the remote is the worst I've ever encountered. For $1000 you'd think Pioneer would provide something usable. Unless you have a bright light on, forget using the remote (thank goodness, Apple has an app that can control the thing. Set up is baffling. I've been trying to find settings for 5 days and am still lost. Can't get through to support..forget that. I've set up many receivers in the past for myself and others almost blindfolded...this one defeats me. There's no users manual. Wi-fi? better be prepared to spend another $250 to $300 to get that. The Gui? what gui. Only confusing categories, no guidance. Have also noticed the video is not as crisp and sharp and colorful as my last Onkyo. If you're willing to hire a geek squad group to set everything up and write the instructions down for you to reference...this is the receiver for you...the sound does rock. If Not, go on to another brand.

I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase of this unit. sound reproduction is what you would expect from a receiver in this price range. set up can be intimidating....

There is a flaw with it after 2 years it will show up eu22 and it can't be fixed. It usually comes up after the warranty is up because it is an update.

The first one had to go back because the remote did not work and the system would not drive the B speakers. A second one was installed but it worked properly for less than a week. B speakers stopped working, then after I got them working again for a day (only when Adv Surround/Drama was selected), they became scratchy and the volume would vary. Both were installed by Best Buy. Also the AVNavigator did not work well at all; it was very, very, very sloooow.
