This is my first Pioneer product and I'm extremely happy. Love the user interface, much more user friendly than my older Sony receiver. I had been a loyal Sony customer for years, but bad customer service and the fact that China is now where their products are manufactured compelled me to go in a different direction. I could not be happier. This receiver has everything! Sounds great paired with my new Def Tech Pro Cinema 600 surround speakers. Not to mention the discount for bundling the two. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Has all the power needed to drive my Klipsch Reference speaker system. Full featured. Atmos ready. Hard to beat when on sales for under $300.

Previously had a Pioneer VSX1019, replaced with this model and haven't looked back. Easy setup and installation, automated setup system worked awesome. Audio quality is clear. Receiver has a built in Google Chromecast capability via firmware update and comes in very useful. Support for Audio Return channel was what sold me as my previous receiver did not support this. now all of my equipment can go thru the receiver and i can use my smart tv without needing an optical cable for audio connection.

We went in to replace an old receiver that was slowly fading. We didn't realize that in Magnolia area there were items we could afford, I am glad we stopped the gentleman and he steered us in the right direction and gave us wonderful advice and was extremely helpful. Same price, even less than one boxed, shelf receiver, we were looking at. The Pioneer Receiver is fantastic and so easy to use, set up. The sound is fantastic!!!

I’ve had this amp for over six months. It has been great for my Divenity speakers! The only thing I wish it has is to work with my iPhone over the LAN not a big deal I can still use Bluetooth. But to sound enthusiasts Bluetooth degraded the quantity of sound so I normally stick with the net app build into the stereo which sounds great. Over it’s a great Stereo, and should last for years to come!

A great little 4K AVR for the price that checks off all the boxes. It's got a good compliment of HDMI ports (3 HDCP 2.2) and connectivity apps including chromecast, Pandora, and Spotify. It's a 7.1 receiver with Ultra HD and 3D passthrough and does DTS:X and Atmos. This is my second Pioneer AVR, only upgrading for the 4K support. This does not disappoint! Best part is I got it on a 1/2 price sale!!

I love this A/V unit. I have been able to integrate everything I have in terms of components - bluray, CD changer, video components to include 4K passthough, Xbox One and Xbox 360, speakers/surround, etc. Sound is great through my old Cerwin Vega speakers. I have the apps to manage the system over my home network (Android Apps to allow for Pioneer control). Yes, I love this! Very pleased.

I purchased this receiver for my family room; e.g. it isn't my primary theater but was greatly surprised that it performs so well. I use it with an OPPO 4K BluRay player and an LG 55" Curved OLED TV (2016 w/3D). It supports Dolby ATMOS, DTS/X, HDR10, and DolbyVision. It is easy to set up and use and is excellent for a smaller room. It is network or WiFi connected for firmware updates.

I haven't had surround sound for some time and, after buying an LG OLED 4K/3D TV and LG UP970 4K/3D player, I definitely needed some sound. I have always been a Pioneer fan and, when I saw this unit, I figured it was the best way to go to give me 7.2 channel sound - It didn't let me down!! So many different ways to listen with the audio options - a must have for the true audiophile.

This is an Awesome receiver. It works perfect with my PS4 pro and Xbox one s.
