I'm very pleased with this head unit! The bluetooth works flawlessly, and the pairing process is very painless. Audio settings are fantastic as well! I love the fact that I have a 13-band equalizer, as well as separate front and rear crossovers. Lastly, the best part, head unit is able to play FLAC files via USB! There is just one minor thing that could be improved in an updated unit. The display is a little difficult to read on sunny days, under direct sunlight, due to the high gloss screen. I'm sure with tinted windows, that probably isn't an issue. I ended up just chaining the color of the display to white, but left the CD and Volume lights remain on colorshift. All in all, I am very satisfied with the unit, and I would pick this one all over again if I had to.

So far I am really pleased with this Receiver.. Programming is real user friendly and I like the fact that the remote is big..

Pretty good radio, I can Bluetooth and listen to cd....

After much research I bought this unit at Best Buy and had them install it. Brian, the installer recommended this over the others that were available and I have no doubts of this purchase after doing a full run through of all the options it has over a period of a few months. Makes no sense to me to review anything after only a few days. Use it, play with it, learn all its functions and capabilities before reviewing, positive or negative. This great little radio replaces my factory unit in my 1994 GMC Suburban and we love it! I have 1000's of songs downloaded on my old Ipod and it jumps right on it when I start the vehicle. Price was right and the professional install only took a few hours to get it done. Good job Best Buy, I am thinking of getting one installed in my other truck as well. Recommended!

This Pioneer receiver has a CD player for my large CD collection, auxillary input for my MP3, and USB connection for stored music. It handles everything you could want. The Bluetooth is simply a must and the cell phone capability is such a safe convenience. Love the large collection of different colors on the display and control knob to choose from or leave in a rotating cycle. The brightness can be timed to set to a dimmer level at night and a higher level in the daytime for easier viewing. This radio is also satellite ready. The sound is great and easily adjustible. Totally love this Pioneer Receiver.

This product is good. It is definitely taking my stock Corolla speakers to a new level and pounding bass. The interface takes a little to learn, but it is easy once you learn it. The bluetooth connects quickly. The USB connector doesn't really work though, so that's my complaint about it. I thought I would have an extra charger available. The mic is also pretty good too, although the bluetooth calling only works through the native phone app. It doesn't work when making calls through Gchat. It is a good product for the price.

It's been awhile since I've bought a new vehicle stereo, and wow have they changed. I bought this to replace a 10 year old factory GMC stereo. It was recommended by the Best Buy rep, and happened to be on sale, so I decided to go with it. I wish I would have spent a little more time to see other options, but overall I'm happy with it. The good: Lots of features. I was excited to use the Bluetooth with music and my phone calls, which has worked great. It was also nice to find the audio settings and adjust them how I wanted. The "bad": LOTS of features. I have a pretty simple four speaker set up in my vehicle. It's a bit of a pain to adjust fader and balance when the kids are sleeping, since there are so many menus. It's also a bit of a pain to make any adjustments, just because their are so many menus. That being said, maybe I'm just getting old :). Overall - lots of features for a reasonable price. I would have loved this stereo when I was 18 and rockin' an amp and sub!

This is the first aftermarket I have put in a car in over 20 years. While the install has not changed any the stereos have. This thing has more bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at. Switching from the various sources (ie FM, CD, Bluetooth, etc) cold have been designed better as well as all the sub menus, but all in all in packs a wallop.

Purchased this for a used car I just aquired. Sounds good, easy to operate and program. Bluetooth phone is basic but good. I had it installed by Best Buy and they did an excellent job.

I find that the display panel is dimly lit and impossible to read in daylight. The controls for the radio are very small and being a senior I have a hard time finding the right button to change channel while driving. The instructions are complicated and it is hard to figure out the way to set up favorite programs.

Everything works fine, except for the clock, which has to be reset daily if you want to know what time it is while driving. Sirius Satellite is great, that's mainly what I listen to. For a 1999 Cadillac that had none of the modern technologies, this was the ideal add on. Bluetooth works fine also. Would have rated it 5 stars were it not for the clock not working. Installation was completed in the 1 1/2 hour promised and was started on time. Technician seemed to know what he was doing. Charlie

I really like this head unit. Even better than the 6800BT unit in my other truck because the Bluetooth would connect and start playing much more reliably than with the 6800BT and also due to 13 level EQ on the 6800BS vs only 6 on the 6800BT. It made a big difference in sound quality and tuneability my humble opinion. Overall this is a great unit. Lots of adjustability. User Interface is a but complicated but once figured out, it's really helpful due to many adjustable functions. Recommended.

needed a radio and have always liked pioneer units. Love the Bluetooth, sound quality is great. Everyone says they can hear me just fine. Call options are great as you can change the sequence of colors when the phone rings. Caller ID comes up on the faceplate as well. I don't use the remote as I think remotes for car stereos are just stupid. Overall an excellent radio for the money. Just wish it wouldn't automatically start playing the music on my phone when it connects.

I'm not a audiophile, just a gal who likes music. I wanted to get something that would sound good without breaking the bank, and had some great features. Had not yet had a bluetooth car system, so that was critical. This one also has a CD player and I still do play CD's, so I'll keep that until my CD's start wearing out I guess. It works well, I haven't yet been able to figure out how to bluetooth my phone for hands-free talking while driving, but I can call Pioneer if need be.

I purchased this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it! Not only can he connect to Bluetooth and play his music off his phone, but if he plus his phone into the USB port it charges it as well! The display colors change and that’s a cool feature. Only downfall is it can be a little hard to see the lettering when it’s bright outside. Overall great purchase!

This is a great replacement radio at a nice price. The sound quality has been great and so far, the bluetooth has worked nicely with my phone and the aux and cd has worked great. Still getting used to the functions on the radio, the settings, menu, etc. but overall I am very pleased with the performance of this radio.

Excellent sound .. Reasonable price .. I was reluctant in buying it at first. I know Pinoeer makes great products but more to the higher end consumer. Luckily this one is as good as some of the more expensive ones I bought in the past. Really great music and great price. I will recommend it to my friends.

My husband needed a stereo he could put in a 55 Ford PU , with a CD player and a remote . He couldn't mount it In the Dash - he had to put it in the Glove box , and he needed the remote , due to no access to stereo when driving . This worked out Great and sounds good too for the price ! He is Happy with it while driving to and from car shows . This worked out Great !
