I bought this charger in 2018 when I had a Pixel 3, and recently bought another one on Black Friday 2020. If you own a Pixel 3, 4 or 5 that supports wireless charging, this is a nice accessory, though when not on sale, it's overpriced. It is the only wireless charging method that will charge a Pixel at full speed. Any QI wireless charger will charge the Pixel at a slower speed, but this charger communicates with the phone to allow it to charge at about twice the speed of any other wireless charger which is about the same as with an appropriate USB C wired charger. It has some other features, like letting you use your phone as a photo slide show or alarm clock, and it will sometimes display content related to what your phone is doing. For example, when connected to some audio streaming apps like BBC Sounds, it will display pictures related to the audio stream. The charger goes on sale a couple of times each year. That's the time to buy. At full price, it is overpriced.

The google stand is great for a lot of things. You can use any wireless charger for the PIXEL 3 or 3XL but this stand allows you to use the new google stand APP on your phone. It will allow you to show pictures, do routines, talk to your assistant, get morning news, etc. This charging is fast and reliable i have not had the stand disconnect from my phone like some of the other stands do if you don't have them perfectly centered. The sleek design and the long cord allows you to place this just about anywhere. I have one for my bedroom side table and one by my computer to keep up with the messages and allow for me to see the screen standing up. This is a convenience item and not a must purchase!

I didn't understand why people were all over having wireless charging. I always felt like, it was a big joke, and just another gimmick for people to make money. I was able to purchase two of these stands, one for home and one for work, and decided to give them a try. Holy mother of you know what! These things are amazing. The fact that I can literally put my phone on the stand and walk away, is amazing. I can charge my phone easily and threw the case that I have, a caseology rugged matted finished case found on amazing. or while I'm at work and when I leave my office just pick up my phone without having to worry about unplugging it. It makes charging the phone so much easier. And to be the ability to see the notifications on my phone and my to do list, all together makes it so awesome. Great job.

Got this for my Pixel 5 simply because It allows me to use my phone as a google assistant while it charges. And also like the way it looks. Normally, this wireless charger is on the expensive side compared to others, but luckily was able to get it at great discount.

I like the stand up design. However I don't find the extra features that it can do that useful. I basically use it for charging which is quick however I feel like it is slightly overpriced. If you want it to give updates and slide your pictures across then it may be better suited for you.

This is an excellent wireless charger. Works perfectly with the Pixel 3. The Google Assistant UI is a nice touch. However, I do think that this is a bit too expensive. It should be $20 cheaper and it would have been perfect. Other than that, very good wireless charger.

This stand is really cool wireless charging charges rapidly, the features it adds to your pixel is really cool and useful like the sunrise alarm that colors the screen like a sunrise. Works even with thick cases on like the moment case and the LifeProof case.

I love this charger. The only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the price. Even on sale, it is a little high priced. It charges fast and the picture display is a nice bonus.

This is a great idea by Google, but it just isn't the complete package. There are some bugs. Notification issue, can't get photos to always appear, and gets a bit warm. It's made with nice material so the phone stays in place and the charger won't slide around. It works with most cases. It charges rather fast but I'm not a fan of how warm it gets.. it needs a fan like Samsung's fast wireless chargers. I know Google has had a couple software updates and it has become a bit more stable. It's like have a mini Google home hub.. just a bit pricey imo. I did grab mine on sale but I don't think it's worth $80 when you can grab a Google home or Google home hub for not much more money. I'd still recommend it at a sale price though.

The Pixel Stand wireless charger makes a perfect companion to your Pixel 3/3XL/4/4XL series phones which have wireless charging. What makes this charger special to me is it acts as a picture frame when charging, so I can see my albums of pets while I slave away at the office, Besides, charging, that's what I like about it. I wish they would turn this feature on when plugging in the usb-c charger. Speaking of charging, it does charge faster than other wireless chargers so that's a nice bonus too. I don't use the wake up to morning sunshine feature. Minus 1 star for the high price however. I wouldn't pay over 40 for it.

It may be expensive, but the build quality and ease of use is fantastic. When using with a Pixel, you unlock some special features such as always on Google Assistant and an always on display. It acts as an alarm clock in the morning with ambient sunlight affects. This also works with other devices using the same wireless protocol, such as the iPhone. The material is a soft rubber as to lot scratch or mark your device, it also keeps a firm grip of the device and is a pleasure to touch and interact with. This is hands down the best wireless charger available in the market today.

I purchased the Pixel stand for our new Pixel XL's we got at launch. I waited for black Friday to see if the stand would go on sale and it did. The stand is very well made and charges rapidly (It'll charge from 60% to 100% in 40 min). I was worried about the phone slipping, However the phone stays where you left it. I can't comment on the assistant functions as I don't utilize it, Seems cool. My only gripe would be the price, no way is it worth full retail. If it had never went on sale I would have never purchased. My advice is for google to bring the price down to no more than $50.

The look of this stand is much sleeker than the new version. It charges fast and is simple enough to fit in with a night stand or desk. When your Pixel is in the stand mode, I never successfully see an option to use Google Home features without queueing up Google Assistant. But you can have your phone rotate through Photos or just display a simple clock screensaver. All in all, it's worth it b but catch it on sale.

It charges my Pixel 3 XL at 10w as opposed to 5w for non-certified-by-Google wireless chargers. I don't use the Google assistant features, as I'm invested in the Amazon ecosystem. For those with sensitive ears and plug this in close to the bed, there's a chance you'll hear a very tiny noise coming from the wall charger when there's no device on the stand. I hear it, and random internet people hear it too (so says reddit). Expensive for what it is at its core (a wireless charger), and I wish it came in black, but.. as my title says.. it works exactly as I expected.

I've never used a wireless charger before. My wife had purchased a S7, and we bought the Samsung stand, and it was a waste of money, she couldn't depend on it, and had to move her case in order for it to charge when it did charge. The marriage between my Pixel 3 XL and the Pixel stand is harmonious to say the least. It charges without any issues, even with my Pixel clothe case. The extra features built into the phone and stand makes it even more practical and delightful to use.

The pixel stand works great to wirelessly charge my pixel 3 XL. It fits in the stand comfortably and charges it pretty quick. Not quite as quick as just plugging it in but still pretty fast and as an added bonus, and with your consent, it turns your pixel into a Google Home which is convenient if you do not have one already or need another by your bed or desk. The only downside is that you can not use a pop socket because it would sit right where the phone rests on the stand. Overall however, I would recommend this product unless you can not live without your pop socket.

Great device, charges my pixel fast. Dissapointed that google required this device to get the fast charging, and that it costs so much. Following Apple with its overpriced accessories is a bummer. I like the photo album ability while charging too, but so silly that it only works with this expensive charger

Sometimes I have to reposition my Pixel a couple of times before the Pixel is in the right position for wireless charging, but once it's in the right place, it works as advertised. It wirelessly charges my phone, even if I'm using it for a Whatsapp video call at the same time. It's also neat that it can do things like display random photos from Google Photos while it's charging and not being used while charging.
