this movie was actually good, I watched the movie thinking it was this certain type of film, but as it progressed the movie became different, and it had a nice little twist to it.

This is a fairly unknown movie, making it hard to find for purchase, no other local competitors were selling this movie, nonetheless had it for sale! This is an amazing movie with twists and great performances by Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper. A fave!

The video and audio really makes you feel like if you are there with the characters as they go along with their lives. This was a very intense picture that deserves more recognition and credit. Oscar or not, this was (in my opinion) the truly Best Picture of 2013.

This wasn't my favorite movie, but I do think it is worth watching. It actually has a good storyline, it just want one that I was particularly a fan of.

Bradley Cooper does a wonderful job in this intense crime thriller sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. Highly recommended for viewing.

The Place Beyond the Pines is such an underrated movie. It is super good. It had such a great story and is very emotional. Everyone did fantastic in it. If you haven’t seen it you definitely should!

I was confused at first about the two different storylines but as the movie wore on it became quite clear how the two male character's lives intertwined.

This movie is simply amazing. It's one of the best films I've seen in a while. You NEED to watch this movie. It's original, and keeps you constantly interested. Everything about this movie I loved. Do yourself a favor and watch it.

Wow - what a great movie. It got great reviews but I don't usually let that sway what I watch. I don't always agree with critics but this is a great plot with great actors. Well written story line. We actually watched it twice.

Good Movie. The plot was really good and throws you off about mid way when you realize the movie is more focused on Bradley Cooper and his life.

This movie is thought-provoking and well-acted...a sleeper film that is worth your viewing.

I was super excited about this film but was left a little unfulfilled as the credits rolled. It's by no means a horrible watch, but the focus on the characters and the sudden shifts of that focus, didn't work for me. The different lives and storylines that intersect in an attempt at a "Crash"-type film just didn't mesh well enough. The individual performances are terrific and are enough of a reason to see it...if you have the time.

Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper lead an all-star cast in this moving drama. It's different than most films, considering that there's basically three different stories that are all connected, but it works.

This is a one of kind film, with terrific acting from Ryan and Bradley. From beginning to end, this film will capture you.

This movie had a good start and plot. However it soon diverged into almost two totally different story lines across a span of years. The first half was mostly about Ryan gosling character and the second about bradely cooper's. I almost preferred the first half of the story to the second. The second drew many connections to the first, yet they were poorly done so. Thus the average rating.
