    As John Mellencamp has older he's gotten better like a fine wine. HE seems to know what I am feeling at every point of my life. A awesome record from a great musician!!!

    One of the best CD's John Mellencamp has recorded. I really shows his feelings and his sound now at 63

    This is a mature singer-songwriter album that John Mellencamp has been trying to make for at least his last three albums. With the help of T-bone Burnett producing and quality songwriting, Mellencamp has finally gotten there.

    Forgive my reference to JCM or nowadays JM's first stage name but if you have followed how Mellancamps's albums reflect with whom he is playing these days, you will follow me. This is a very recent stripped down ragged performance of new tunes, that are well worth hearing especially the first track. Enjoy.

    Not your typical Mellencamp music, but I still enjoyed it. John called it age appropriate rock music. I would call it mellower Mellencamp music.

    Took a few listens to warm up to it, and some of the songs are a bit on the dark side. But the music is great and his voice has taken on a gravelly quality. Good stuff.
