Fantastic scenery and beautiful photography. The narrative for each is informative and helps the viewer understand and appreciate each environment. The additional material covering how filming was done and the challenges encountered is great.

Intriguing, informative, and majestic. A great way to travel around the world and learn new things without leaving the couch. You should still travel physically of course, but visiting several of the places shown would be very difficulty.

The visuals and how they get some of these video captures are just amazing. Educational for both kids and adults and it's easy to get caught up in just enjoying it and watching a while disc at once. I got it on sale so you can't beat it

This is such a great collection. You get 6 discs in the collection and all of them are outstanding. My son loves to watch these and they are presented with great narration and absolutely beautiful video quality. Highly recommended!!!

This gift set is really great for people who love wildlife. It is a bargain to have so much content at this price. Image quality is excellent, as well as the sound. I would recommend this gift set to others.

I have both the DVD and Bluray versions and the bluray version definitely provides a more lifelike view. When viewed on a 4K UHD television it's almost like being there in person!

Other than Planet Earth 2, nothing else compares. The quality is amazing even on large 4k TV. The image and delivery make the experience feel very unique. You gain a vast appreciation for nature and all of its beauty.

Adds two additional discs to the original Plane Earth set. The specials on the underground river of the Incas and the Snow Lepard in Pakistan are well worth the peice of the whole set. The set is a great bargain

The 1st four blu rays are just breath taking and I can just watch over and over. Its a nice Blu ray to have if you have the total set up including a 4k television and surround sound and you got to love nature .

The nature photography is stunning and I can't imagine anyone but Attenborough doing the voice over. This special edition set with all the bonus features is definitely the version to get.

Purchased for the grandchildren. They are enthralled by the beauty they see through the photography while busily learning about the planet on which they live. A definite "win" as a purchase.

Really enjoy this series. Upgraded from the previous release with fewer discs. I did like the prior releases packaging more, but I can overlook that for the added content. A must for any "Nature show" fans.

We had seen some segments on television before and had been wanting yo see it all. WOW!!!!!!!! 7 dvds in high definition Blue Ray is absolutely stunning! My only regret is that I waited so long to purchase!

Planet Earth has always been a show that I would stop flipping channels and watch any time I came across it. To own it on Blu Ray is fantastic and this collection has it all. I highly recommend.

Let me tell you, BBC nature documentaries should have an Oscar category on their own. It's fantastic! Stunning picture and great narration. I cant stop watching over and over again. This is a must have.

An excellent source of educational and entertaining information. I disagree with the commenters that prefer an American actor performing the audio; I prefer to hear the original, performed by the author.

Planet earth 2 on uhd is reference quality picture at its best bought to test my new Samsung q9 the colors hdr and resolution is amazing bar none the nest content to demo 4K and a great series

I already had this set but one day I was taking one of the discs out and broke it. The set was expensive. When I saw this on sale I couldn't resist the urge to have the full set again. Amazing set of blue rays

Planet Earth has remained the most vivid and beautiful look at plant and animal life for almost 10 years. It is the most striking blu ray visually and so rewatchable. Its great for kids as well.

After watching season 2 of Planet earth i was in awe. So i had to watch the first season as well. And best buy had it on sale for $14.99. Super deal for a super show. Highly recommended
