I had this in HD DVD, but my son wanted it, so I replaced it with the blu ray version. The scenery is amazing and an awesome way to learn about the planet we live on. It's a must have for any collection.

Owned this 10 years ago on hdhvd and managed to pick up at a decent price when PEII was released. Great cinematography and narratives. Very interesting seeing nature accross the world.

Every family should have this collection. Nature is happens my all around us but we see only a little. This series shows so much that you would probably never have gotten to see.

This DVD is really great. There is a ton to see and learn. It looks great on Blue Ray. Watching this gave me lots of ideas of trips I would love to go on and places I would love to see.

To think that someone (or possibly a drone??) was present in all the settings in this set is remarkable. If you love nature documentaries, this is a must have for your collection.

Each segment transports the viewer to unimagined locations with awe inspiring clarity, allowing you to experience the sights & sounds of our planet's amazing splendor. Our entire family loves this series, kids to grandparents. This documentary is the reason you paid all that money for a high end TV.

Planet Earth is a spectacular documentary. It is beautiful in high definition. The special features are a nice asset to have on this special edition set. Very educational, high recommended.

Planet Earth is worth watching, especially with David Attenborough's narration. The scenes are very vivid on the Blu-ray and fascinating to watch. Well worth getting.

My 6 year old is a huge animal lover, so we have watched this series at least 3 times since purchasing it! He loves it, and even gets a kick out of some of the commentary!

Not sure how they get the shots they do, but it's pretty amazing to watch and very informative. There's so much about the earth you may not know about, and get to experience here!

This is the series that started it all. It has all the different terrains on this planet. The narration is awesome. the visuals are awesome. The information is priceless!

Planet Earth sets the standard for Live Nature Documentaries. Planet Earth, and it's successors are as good as it gets. Beautiful photography and editing. More please!

Own a copy already. Like it so much I bought a set for a friend who does not have this stuff avaible, locally. And will buy more sets as gifts when i find them on sale.
