I bought the special edition for a very low price and I was not disappointed. The BBC really has outdone themselves here with the beautiful photography.

What could be better than turning off the junk on tv and watching shots of our planet in all of it's stunning beauty. Do yourself a favor and get this.

This is an amazing series that is narrated by a great person but the views are just breathe taking and is a great series to show to the family!

Get this disc if you appreciate the beauty of nature and it's majestic animal inhabitants. And Best Buy has it available for a great price!

This is one of the best nature documentaries I have ever seen. I saw it when it first came out, and now I bought it to share with my young children.

Enjoy the ride! The video quality is very good, but not cutting edge detailed. Otherwise a five star rating would have been more deserving.

I picked this collection up for such a great price on one of the many sales Best Buy is always having. Something for the whole family can enjoy.

Planet Earth makes you want to explore every inch of our world or at least explore our immediate surroundings. It's a breathtaking experience.

The Planet Earth series on Blu-Ray is incredible! The resolution on a 1080p TV is sufficient enough for me, and it looks so realistic!

Absolutely incredible video you'll rarely see otherwise. Worth checking out, esp on a 4K system since its shot with a 4K camera (true 4K).

I thought this was only planet earth but it also includes Planet Earth II. Good deal.

The detail on this documentary is stunning! Truly a visual masterpiece! The narration is good as well! Must have for nature lovers!

If you have not viewed this series before, and you love the beauty of this God created planet, I would highly recommend this series to you.

This video series has amazing cinematography complete with information thats delivered as fun story telling.

Some of the shots are breathtaking! Sometimes the show will drag on to the point of putting you asleep, but they will take you places you could never get to on a regular vacation trip!!! Bought this on sale a few weeks back.....such a great deal!!!! I'm guessing Best Buy is closing them out and not going to offer them on-line anymore?

Absolutely stunning videos and narrator (David Attenborough) is perfect for this series. Highly recommended DVD collection.
