    I watched this for the first time only after seeing "Rise" and "Dawn" of the planet of the apes. I feel dumb for waiting that long. This is a classic.

    The Blu-Ray version with features not available in the DVD version is the better choice for this classic science fiction movie.

    This movie looks great in 1080. Lots more noticeable detail than I was used to seeing while watching it on the ABC 4:30 Movie as a kid!
