Charlton Heston is a great actor and this movie is no let down. Good, clean original plot

if you liked the planet of the apes remakes, you have to see the one that started it all!

I am not going to spoil it but this movie has a very interesting plot twist at the end. The special effects are dated but they are not bad for a movie from 1968.
