I loved these movies growing up and I am glad I found them all on a boxset for a good price!

This goes back to the beginning with a great movie! I would highly recommend.

While the package arrived a bit beat-up, this was exactly as advertised--all five original films, along with a bonus documentary. GREAT price for the content!

I have loved this series ever since I was a young boy who saw the original movie on TV. When the TV series came out, I was glued to the set for every episode, and then the cartoon series became a part of my regular Saturday morning viewing. This is one of the few movie franchises that I loved growing up that has not lost any of its charm with me now as an adult.

This review will just be about the new packaging for this set. As far as I can tell, the content of the discs are identical to previous releases. The main reason to get this set, assuming you enjoy the movies, is that the packaging is about a third of the size of the previous release.

Real nice to have the legacy collection. Didn't realize that the first movie came out in 1967. That was a wake up call that I didn't need to be reminded of. Even my grandson thought they were pretty neat. A must have for movie collectors.

With rare exception, remakes fall short of the originals. This is the case with Planet of the Apes. The original had to rely on story and acting over special effects (though the monkey makeup is very good for 1968). Sadly, all POTA movies and TV shows that followed, including the remake and it's sequels, have not lived up to the standard set by the original, but are still worth watching.

It was nice tio find a collection of the Planet of the Apes movies that covered all of the early releases. I do not believe I could have found them any other way, or quite so easily. Anice find and an excellent addition to my dvd collection!

I bought this DVD prequels of the planet of the apes so I can watch the series over and over again. It's great to have this collection as I will be buyng the sequels.

This was a great set. This is just an awesome film series to own. You can give this to someone who only knows of the newer movies and you can let them see how this series got it's start.

I LOVE the original Planet of the Apes series, and at this price it was a no-brainer buying it. It's a great collection to have, and you won't regret buying it. $14.99 for all the movies is a great bargain.

You get to see all of this in color from part 1 to the end. It brought back many memories and is just a huge collector series to have it was hours of entertainment

This collection is a must have for any sci-fi movie collection. Sure, the costumes and effects are dated and somewhat cheezy. That only adds to the movies - like the original King Kong.

My wife is a fan of the two recently released films and wanted to see the original ones to see if the new ones were holding true to the story line. The first two movies in the series were very good. The third was average. The last two were difficult to finish. Guess it was what was being produced at the time.

An excellent digital version and quality visual presentation. I found it very enjoyable.

These first 5 movies, okay, maybe just the first 3, are classics! CGI and all is great, but these originals are still my favorites!

I really enjoyed these movies as a kid. I had the toys ect too. Sure they are a little dated and the visual effects a little weak. I saw the same explosion several times from different angles. Still very compelling premise and overall I liked them all.
