I was very disappointed after learning Bose was no longer producing a bluetooth headset. Now after using the Edge for a month I am impressed with the comfort, sound and battery life. The headset will work in either ear and there have been no complaints on the receiving end of calls. With the Geek Squad warranty you cannot go wrong.

This Plantronics Bluetooth headset has its good points and bad points. On the good side, the sound quality to me, is the best I have ever used. I can hear the people I am talking to, and they can hear me - and I mean clearly. On the bad side, I would say be very careful to understand how to charge and setup the headset. It will fail if you don't know how to charge it in its charging cradle, and I don't recommend that you plug it directly into a micro plug/USB type cable. Lastly, the headset will announce "who" is calling you, but will not read text messages like some other brands. When answering, it will sometimes loose its connection to my phone, and I will have to tap the button on the headset to get a re-connect. Features, that perhaps, they will correct in the future.

This is my fifth Plantronics bluetooth headset that I have purchased. Noise cancellation works well, charging system is good and overall look and features are acceptable. However, the new design of the clear piece that goes behind the ear is very uncomfortable after a short amount of time. I am a chef and sometimes will wear the headset for 15 or 16 hours at a time. The Legend was the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. On a few occasions I have almost stepped into the shower with it on....not so with the Edge. The Edge is a good product but need to go back to old design behind the ear.

Noise cancelation and battery life makes this a choice for a person on the go. It's light weight and practical in regards to it's functionality purpose. I'm in the transportation industry and this ear piece is great weather inside or out, also it's a good price, this is my third one through the years. I've lost a couple, the ear piece is resistant to sweat and the elements.

I'm a heavy user of Bluetooth ear pieces. I've had quite a few. The Edge has the best noise canceling and clearest sound of any I've tried. Even better than the Legend which is very good. The only problem has been consistent quality. I had one that worked perfectly, I lost it, bought another which was faulty (it was overly sensitive to ear contact and kept dropping the connection). I returned it and the replacement kept the ear connection but had a faulty mic. If you feel lucky you may get a good one and you will love it. If not you may have to return a few until you do. If your not good about retuning things, I would stick with the Legend (more rugged and reliable).

At first I was skeptical because I've had trouble finding a Bluetooth I like after a few just failed. But the Edge has proven to be a great buy. It's clear, light and easy to use. The only issues I've had is it tends to switch back to the phone. It's easy to get it back on the Bluetooth. But it can be a pain at times. Using with an IPhone 5.

I really love this headset. I love the voice control so I can be totally hands free. (great when doing dishes or driving). I would give this 5 stars, but it likes to jump from the headset back to my iPhone. Half the time I do not realize it until I can hear a distant voice coming from my phone. That is not cool, especially when I use this for business. Other than that, I love it. It holds a charge for approx 6 hours of talk time. Overall, it is a little pricey, but it is worth it in the long run. If they could correct the jumping flaw it would be a perfect purchase.

I've tried almost every Bluetooth Best Buy sells and the Plantronics Voyager Edge is by far the best Bluetooth headset out now for noisy environments. The only one that came close was the Bose for the same price. I didn't care for the Bose as the battery life is too short and it comes in either left or right and I like to switch out from time to time to give my ear a rest .I drive a truck and run a crain. I have a coworker that I talk to with the same headset so I know what it sounds like on both ends of the phone call. It blocks all but the worst noises, wind, engine and highway noises are barely heard with no voice distortion. The only thing it doesn't block out well is a high pitched backup alarm. The battery gives almost 6 hours of talk time and it comes with its own portable charging case.

I liked it, but I wasn't fond of the way it attached to my ear, I prefer the over the ear style. After a while it started to hurt my ear, also I stay pretty active and it fell out a few times. The battery life was shorter than that previous model (Voyager Legend) - 6 hours instead of 7. The sound quality was good, it's a great Bluetooth, but not for me.

Will last most of the day under heavy use on a single charge. Fully charges in under an hour. Volume runs on the high side, really needs one more step down on to be perfec. Good noise cancelation and comfortable, very light weight. Needs a break in period for your ear. "ouch"

This bluetooth headset is a great headset. It is clear and has alot of features you can control from the bluetooth itself. I really like the lightweight over the ear clip to help hold it in place. The only thing I would change is the way the speaker sits in your ear. I'm not a fan of the rubber insert. I would like the insert to actually go into the ear canal for added comfort and sound.

It replaced a broken Motorola Sliver II and it is a much better device... clearer conversations that don't break up, longer talk time, more user friendly once you master its many capabilities. Only problem is that it's placement in the ear is more tenuous that the Motorola Sliver II... the Plantronics - Voyager Edge is held by a tiny plastic loop in the ear and its snap-on loop is fragile and uncomfortable. But overall, the Plantronics - Voyager Edge is a great operational upgrade.

battery life is fantastic, it tells me batter life and talk time when you push the button on the piece...paired with iPhone 6-Plus, simply and easily, don't bother downloading the app, waste of time. simple to use. I'm hard of hearing and this is easy to hear clearly in outdoor or in car. I use the over the ear piece. Pairs easily if you leave it on and in your car and walk away with phone....make sure you turn blue tooth off or it answers on the earpiece in your car.

I purchased the Plantronics Bluetooth Headset for work and was not disappointed. It is very easy to use and fits comfortably in my ear. The battery life is 6 hours and charging completes very quickly. The only downside I've found is that it is a bit tricky to use outdoors when there is any kind of a breeze. The sound tends tends to cut in and out in any wind. Otherwise, the device works as advertised and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought this 2 weeks ago. I'm already having random disconnects when the call is connecting to the headset. If you click the Bluetooth icon in your call window it will connect. I shouldn't have to keep hitting Bluetooth everything I wasn't to use the headset. This could very well be an issue with Android 5.0 (Lolipop). However my Bluetooth Stereo Motorola S9 doesn't disconnect like this does. I would look around and compare your options before making the jump to this headset. Great quality but poor connections.

Love this headset. Have had a number of different ones throughout the years. Very comfortable though since I have small ears, it is a little big. The sound is great. The auto answer feature is wonderful and the auto bypass if you don't pick it up and answer your phone directly is so useful. Charging station is easy. Hold sits charge well and you can check the battery left at any time. Best headset that I have used so far compared to Bose and other high end brands.

I must have weird ears, because I've had a lot of trouble finding a Bluetooth headset that would stay in my ear without a big headband. I actually found one of these as a refurb for only $10. It's so small that I lost it, but I had it long enough to know that it stays in my ear well. So I shelled out the cash for a new one. The little charger-base thing is helpful because it give it more bulk in my pocket and prevents me from losing it. The only negative thing is that it detects if it is in your ear or not, and sometimes it's wrong. That gets annoying when it's in the middle of a phone call. But normally it works really well. I just wish I could figure out if that feature can be disabled.

**Let me get right to the point by saying that there is an "iPhone iPod iPad" logo on the box, pushing the iOS app by Plantronics. As of 6/20/14 The app is nowhere to be seen. You can still connect to your iOS device, and use the headset as normal, BUT you will need to connect to a computer to change some of the more intricate settings. As far as Android goes? No problem. The "Plantronics Hub" recognizes the headset and allows you to change ALL the settings without the need for a computer. The headset is different than most, as it doesn't shy away from being large, and obvious. Not to say it is LARGE, but it has a longer boom than the Jawbone, or Bose. The exclusive Best Buy styling (Black/Black) is very professional and looks great with the iPhone 5s and/or Nexus 5. There is a dedicated power switch (I/O), and a volume rocker, as well as a button on the bottom of the boom arm to issue device specific (not phone specific) commands like "pairing mode". The fit for me was the reason I kept this headset. I have odd ears and have a hard time keeping anything in them without a "hook" of some point (Yes, this headset comes with an ear-hook). It stays in with the medium tip, and only becomes uncomfortable after a few hours. It doesn't feel like it is even loose, or going to fall off at all. The quality of the audio that is received is second only to the Bose headset. There is enough bass to hear callers over ambient volumes, but not too much to muffle them. There is an active mic (think of on a landline phone) when on a call so you can hear yourself a bit to know that it's picking your voice up. The noise cancellation is great, I take 90% of my calls in my car, some even on the highway with the windows rolled down. No one has complained about any noise. This headset handles road-noise with no effort at all. Overall if you want a premium headset, and aren't afraid to stand out a little, this is a great option!
