My son loves this game. He will play it for hours.

So my sons, 9 and 10 years old, were begging me to buy this game for them. It was not in the store and so we had it delivered. I used my reward points and got it virtually free. However, when we saw it, we discovered it requires Xbox Gold Live. This is an additional expense each month! I was not happy about this, but we got a free month and so they will get to play it for 30 days. If we had already purchased this membership, that wouldn't have been a problem for us, but I'm not spending $10 each month to play a game. Grrrr.

This is definitely a good game, but there is absolutely no offline play and unless you have a gold live account it can get expensive.

This is a fun game but is one player and you need an XBox Live Gold account. This could be a local multiplayer game with the expansion to online gaming if you desire through an Xbox Live Gold account.

Great game. Must have Xbox live to play. Reccomend it for anyone that likes the phone version of the game.

Bought this game for my kids. They seem to enjoy it when they can play. Unfortunately, this game requires a connection to EA servers which seems to be down more than it is up. Keep in mind this also requires an xbox gold subscription making the $30 game now cost around 90 if you don't currently subscribe. I'm wishing I could have returned it had I known the issues.

If you're expecting to buy a typical Plants Vs Zombies experience, you've come to the wrong place. Popcap has taken the game to a whole new genre, shooter. Many were initially concerned with the direction the franchise was going. Could Popcap pull this off? Would EA be more of a roadblock than a help? I'm here to say that Popcap and EA pulled off what I thought to be impossible. They were able to pull together the silliness of mobile plants and zombies as a legitimate shooter. Now, this isn't your CoD type of game. It's a 3rd person shooter. As well, the game has very little, if any, rage inducing moments. At times where you'd feel a little bitter about how a situation played out, you tend to enjoy the experience and the humor that is popping across your screen. I've played for about a dozen hours thus far, and this game isn't a novelty item. It should, and will, have plenty of users on a daily basis. That being said, once a day I would randomly get booted from a server. However, I'd restart the game and run without an issue. Secondly, I do have a small concern that I'll start to become bored with the limited number of maps. I won't focus on that too much, though, because Popcap has decided to release content on a consistent basis for free, including new maps and potentially new game modes. The controls are so simple that my 4 year old can adequately get around the map and aim. It doesn't mean the game is easy, but it means the learning curve is very small - you should be able to jump in and start enjoying the game immediately. I highly recommend this game to everyone. There's a lot going on in what would seem like a simple idea to really enjoy. There's so much color on the screen, and so much going on in 12 vs 12 multiplayer, that the game is so enjoyable to play. You won't be disappointed at all. This game is worth more than the retail price.

Plants vs. Zombies is one of the best games ever. I'm not yet familiar with the online version though

I purchased for my 10 year old son, and both he and my 8 year old play it all of the time.

Bought as Christmas present. The nephews enjoy the game it is great for a 5 and 6 year old.

This game was a lot of fun to play with friends, especially for the younger crowd of gamers (think younger teens) if you have a problem with the more violent (gory) shooter games. You play either zombies or plants from the epic hit Plants vs. Zombies, running around using your assigned weapons to take on the enemy. Nothing too fancy in terms of graphics or sound, but a fun play if you can find a good group online.

I wasn't sure about this game after reading reviews if I was going to let my 9 year old son play this...he really loves it and very glad we got this for him!

I bought this game for my 6 year old cousin and he loves it! It is easy and fun for kids of all ages!

It is a complete different game from Plant Vs Zombies, now you can be a plant or a zombie, has different levels and scenes. My sons really are the users (I have played several times and it is great). The only issue at the beginning was that you need Microsoft Gold membership ($10.00/ month or 60.00 per year plus o minus) so it has an extra cost to play. you can ONLY play with another members in internet.
