    This is perfect for videoing or shooting still images from a table, car roof, etc. The base spreads out plenty wide to very safely support heavy camera and long lens. I set tripod on scorers table at basketball games and just smoothly pan from one end to the other, Sure beats hand holding. Very pleased with mini tripod.

    This little guy is built light and portable without sacrificing quality. It will need to be used on surfaces for pictures with height, but you're hard pressed to find one more portable that holds steady like this one.

    This is a decent travel tripod! I wouldn't recommend putting an expensive camera on it because the first stage of the legs has a very narrow footprint and tends to tip. There is no fluid pan or tilt so this is a photography dedicated tripod.

    we wanted something small to use for our wildlife camera to set it low to catch on video the coyotes, etc running around our house and yard. Works pretty well for that, but keep in mind it's not full size and doesn't extend very high.

    Yes, you can find comparable items on Amazon, but it's nice that if anything happens I can take it in to a store and swap it out instantly. Worth the difference in price to me.
