Platinum is an executive brand of Best Buy. The quality is superb. The adapter and the cable that comes with it is made of super quality material. Quite often people go for brand name to buy their products. But to my experience all products of platinum brand of Best Buy is great. No point in shelling out double amount for the Same product which you get for half the price and of same quality.

I was amazed that this charge worked on both my laptop and samsung s9 phone. The young lady at best buy who works in the geek squad department was kind enough to leave the desk and help me pick out the correct charger. My dog had pulled my laptop off the table and bent the cord. I did not know which one to buy, so she helped me. I love this store and dislike Amazon. No one to help you there.

Better than the equivalent apple charger and less expensive. Can power my MacBook Pro and all the other stuffs with ease. Also noticed it's less prone to teenager theft -- if you have one of those and their friends lurking around and you always find your chargers going missing.

The original charger on my work issued laptop stopped working. I needed to finished a major project and did not have time to wait for my employer to get me a replacement one. I went to Best Buy and found this charger that was compatible. It works great and I love that it also has two additional USB charging ports so I can charge multiple items!

Good design, good price and fast shipping. One plug in for multiple devices. So far so good with the plug ins. Being an Insignia product from BB, I trust the quality of it and expect it to last awhile. There is a lot of junk out there that may even cause fires due to poor quality. I think BB did good with this build.

My mom had lost the charger for her Chromebook during a move. When we discovered that it was lost, she was heartbroken. Best Buy to the rescue! My son had found the model in needed to pick and i was able to show the tech guy what was needed. He actually found a better unit that wouldn't overheat the Chromebook and was a little less expensive. It is working perfectly and mom is back on the Internet.

This Platinum charger is superfast and works as stated. The charger cord is of good quality also. Very good product for a great price especially at the sale price paid.

Excellent product and works just as well as its Apple counterpart!! As a travel RN, I don’t want to take my Apple power cords with me, as I travel all over the country! This item works great and even has two additional USB ports for charging a phone or tablet as well.
