Note: I play on LG G1 OLED with panel capable of 120hz and VRR.* The PS5 pro is everything that Sony built it up to be. Increased fidelity in higher frame rate modes with a little extra (PSSR) to boot. So far the games that I have tested (Horizon Forbidden West, Dragons Dogma 2, Hogwarts Legacy, Cyberpunk 2077, and Black Ops 6) all perfom better than they did on the regular PS5 and those games in the list that are optimized by the developers for PS5 Pro feels like I’m playing them for the first time again, the upgrade is that impressive. Dragons Dogma 2 which had the pro patch on release day of the PS5 Pro looks so good in performance mode and I am getting a stable 60 FPS median in Balanced mode with ray tracing effects on. Before on the PS5 original, i was getting 30FPS with ray tracing on. To make things sweeter, PSSR brings out another level of detail in far ranging graphics this was noticable in Dragons Dogma 2 and Horizon Forbidden West more than the others. That all being said, a couple of the games i tested, Black Ops 6 and Cyberpunk 2077, which do not have PS5 Pro patches (cyberpunk might not ever have it) play just a bit better but if you werent OCD about graphics like I tend to be you probably wouldnt inow which console you were playing on if the images were side by side. This was very dissappointing as I believed the upgraded hardware itself could take these games to a new level of fidelity but it does not. At the time of writing this black ops 6 still gas not released its pro patch and my hope is that the unsightly graniness in 120hz mode might be solved by PSSR. I think we will see the true test of its capabilities in games further doen the road which will be produced to cater to the upgrade of the PS5 pro and not just patches for older titles, which is very exciting. All in all, the ps5 pro is worth the expense if you want the best graphics, which I did. I think it is worth noting again like i did in the beginning of this review that having a good TV set to really bring out the detail is important too. Especially one that unlocks the features of this console, VRR, 120hz so its potential can be realized. If you do not have a set that can atleast produce those outputs I would pass on the PS5 Pro.

The PS5 Pro redefines what “next-gen” truly means, pushing performance past expectations with blistering speeds and jaw-dropping visuals. Its upgraded GPU delivers ray tracing at a fidelity that makes even the most familiar worlds feel new, while AI-powered upscaling ensures every frame is a masterpiece. Load times? Practically nonexistent—this machine doesn’t just play games; it launches you into them. The redesigned cooling system keeps things whisper-quiet, proving power doesn’t have to come with compromise. Sony didn’t just refine the PS5; they perfected it, setting a new benchmark for console gaming. If the PS5 was the future, the PS5 Pro is living in it.

I bought myself this for a year of hard work as a celebration. The graphics look amazing and the console is so quiet compared to the ps4.I was going to get a ps5 this past summer but heard of a ps5 pro series coming out & im happy that I waited for this machine instead as the performance is outstanding. My only complaint is they werent made with a disc drive That will have to be bought separately.I had to definitely buy one because I mostly only collect physical media.I cant be one of those digital only people as i like to display and have a case&manual for my $$ and you own it forever.(no worrying about losing it 5 years later over licensing issues lol)

Sony never Disappoints, which is why it took me so long to get the PS5. Sony has a habit leaving out a lot of Key Features and Details, that you don’t discover until you have their Products. The PlayStation 5 is No exception. From the ability to Cross Remote Play between your PS5 and PS4. A feature that Unlocks itself on both Consoles once you Log into your PS5. That’s just to Name and Describe One Feature. The Console has a Unique Design from Standard to the Pro. With the Pro version being the most Unique. It’s a Gorgeous Console, packed with a lot of Upgradable Hardware. The Setup is No different from your average PlayStation, simply Login and go. If you can Afford the Disc Drive, do get it, it will allow you to play your PS4 games on it, with a feature that may also allow most games to be upgraded to the PS5 versions if available. With Rumor that an Update allow you to Download and Play the Disc of PS2 and 3 games also. Pairing your PlayStation 5 with a Portable is also an Option, I did just that, which allows me access my PS5 or PlayStation Plus Account no matter where I’m at, as long as I have a Strong enough WiFi connection. What I’m trying to say is, you can’t go wrong with the PlayStation 5, as Technology evolves, so should you and your PlayStation. I only waited so long cause there were always a PlayStation 4 version available with the PS5 version. With rumor of a PlayStation 6 and games coming out only feature on the 5, it wasn’t a difficult choice. Treat yourself with a PlayStation 5, you won’t regret it.

The **PS5 Pro** is a **next-gen powerhouse**, delivering **stunning 4K/120fps gameplay**, **enhanced ray tracing**, and **blazing-fast SSD load times** that make gaming smoother than ever. With **AI-powered PSSR upscaling**, visuals stay sharp even in performance mode, while the **upgraded DualSense controller** and **3D Audio** deepen immersion. Whether you're a competitive player or a graphics enthusiast, the PS5 Pro **sets a new benchmark for console gaming**—absolutely worth the upgrade.

Throughout my time using this product (about a month), I found myself to really enjoy this system. The performance is smooth and works great with my TV. The only issue I've experienced is that after a little while of gaming, the system would become noticeably hot, to the point where I was concerned about potential overheating. However, after some research, I found a cooling fan stand (as shown in the photo) that now keeps the system at a much safer, warm-to-the-touch state. With this being said, I would definitely recommend this system to anyone who has yet to get a PS5 system like myself.

Fast, quiet and storage capacity is great. This is my first PS5 and glad i waited this time around. First thing I did was purchase a disc drive and now the PS5 Pro is complete as it should have been in the first place. Yes it is pricey ,But so are PC components. You just have to weigh the pros and cons for yourself. I went back to PC during the PS5 shortage and when they became available in my area again the small hard drive was not a seller for me considering I would have to upgrade the SSD almost immediately. Most descent SSD NVME drives are two hundred plus dollars normal price. I can't wait to see where they take the Pro enhanced games.

Had it for 10 days now & i can say it is very worth it. What a console this console is so strong and so quiet.
Playing God of war Ragnarok it looks like I'm playing on PC. Upgraded from the OG PS5 to the Pro.
I just had to get the upgraded one the pro it's gonna play all the enhanced games, including GTA 6 and New The Battlefields. I just want to be prepared with great Fidelity and Performance Situations. This is a big step up from the PS5 OG's.
Even though I bought the PS5 in 2023 I knew I was gonna get the pro but the price was ridiculous, but I had to. I wanted bigger GPU, Bigger Ram, Advance, Raytracing, AI Upscaling with PSSR & even has 2TB memory. Thank God!

The PS5 Pro is worth it if your setup supports what it offers. What I mean is if you have a 4k TV that supports 120hz and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) then you will see the benefits of the added performance and higher render resolution.
This system is just as quiet as the original and uses no additional power/electricity. The 2tb storage is a bonus which makes it a little easier to justify the expense. PSVR 2 also benefits from the additional horse power
Your kids will love it!

PS5 pro is super quiet, takes up less space than the OG PS5, has 2 TB of storage built in, and you can tell the difference in the graphics/performance. However, I’m not sure it’s worth the $200+ price difference. Not only does it not have a disc drive or vertical stand, but I don’t think most people would care about the performance difference. It would have been worth it if it came with the pulse/pro controller. Long story short - I like it, but it’s not worth it. You’ll get a better value with the regular PS5.

the truth is today i will talk to you about the ps 5 pro, it is no less true, that it does not have a disc input, but it does have very good quality when it comes to playing, uploading games to 120hz with the highest quality available, an incredible response time thanks to its newly installed ultra m2, and its new ram memory expansion, they allow you to have an incredible experience thanks sony you have done it again.. here I leave you several photos of what this beautiful video game console looks like. I recommend it 100% that is why I am going to give it 5 stars.

Ordered game console for pickup. In and out for two minutes. Mint condition. Everything worked as expected and happy. This console is so quiet and powerful. Added disk drive and ssd worked as expected. All the data on the ssd transferred over correctly from one console to this one. Smooth gameplay 120fps in some games. Can’t complain. It’s great.

Awesome console, plays great with games like GOW ragnarock and Last of Us! It’s worth the price in the long run. Plus having 2TB of internal storage is ideal if you have a lot of PS4/5 games!

In my 50s so old school gamer here. From Pong & Atari in the 70s & 80s to All Nintendos & Xbox... Sega Dreamcast, etc.. played or collected them all!! This is by far the best, both "under the hood" and developers. As also a 25-year game PC builder, This is the first time I've seen a console come close to the visual level I don't some of my higher end gaming machines. ie 7900XTX, 4090, 5090, etc...without the extreme video card costs ... as long as you're not a pro competitor. This 2TB pro version even matches the 6TB(with expansions) capacity of my Xbox Series X Galaxy Black edition. Another HUGE positive is that it uses M.2 SSD for expansion versus expensive proprietary cards like my Series X. The ONLY down side at all is, as a collector of special editions there is NONE for this, like the Ghost of Tsushima Edition for the regular PS5... I would take away half star for that...but after-market panels are available which I put on...

I couldn't be more thrilled with my new PS5! From the moment I picked it up, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The console itself is a game-changer—stunning graphics, lightning-fast load times, and the immersive feel of the DualSense controller completely elevate the gaming experience. It’s clear that Sony really put a lot of thought into creating something that pushes the boundaries of what a console can do.
But what really made the experience exceptional was the customer service. The staff at [store name] were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. When it came time to pick up the console, everything was quick and seamless. I was in and out in no time, and the staff even took the extra step to make sure I knew how to get everything set up properly at home.
In short, the PS5 is everything I hoped for, and the service I received made the whole experience even better. If you're thinking about getting a PS5, don't hesitate—it’s an investment in next-gen gaming, and you can trust that the staff will take care of you every step of the way!

I got this ps5 pro in november for my own birthday present as I am unfortunately disabled with a auto immune spine disease called ankylosing spondylitis.
Even though I am in pain 24/7 gaming really distracts me from the pain I am going through. I decided to get the pro despite me already owning the playstation 5 witb a disc drive because the launch edition ps5 I use to have had only 825gb of storage and I found out right away that really struggled with performance. I also have a gaming pc with a 7800x3d and a 4070ti super and I love using DLSS and raytracing at 4k ranging from 60-144 fps so I know how benefital a.i upscaling and raytracing features are and how much performance it brings. So thats why I sold my regular ps5 to get it.
Now this ps5 pro comes with 2tb of storage more than 2x the storage of the ps5 launch edition. The gpu is technically almost 50% faster and this is whats interesting the regular ps5s gpu has 16gb of gddr6 vram however the ps5 pros gpu has 16gb of gddr6 memory and another 2gb ddr5 to run the systems os so the 16gb of gddr6 vram can fully be utilized in the pro version unlike the regular ps5..
Now a lot of people are complaining about lack of a disc drive which I dont think is fair to complain about it as all pcs dont come with a disc drive in fact most people with pcs use external disc drives. I plan on buying a external disc drive for the ps5 pro in the future. I can't now hecause of all the scalpers have them and its out of stock in most retail markets. However with ps plus premium there are so many games that you can download without the need of paying $70 for them most exclusives are now on ps plus premium with ps1-ps4 games also.
I love how the pssr works it is not as good as dlss yet but defintly is better than fsr3 and i am impressed I was able to play gran turismo 7 @4k 120 fps on my hdmi 2.1 tv and it was impressive! I do not have a 8k tv so I wasnt able to test out the 8k@30 fps feature yet. But I love how I can play raytracing games on my console at upscaled 4k 60 fps just like I can do on my pc. I highly recommend the ps5 pro to anyone who doesnt even have a ps5 yet.

So far i really like this system. I upgraded from my original PS5. So far it seems to load faster and the graphics on majority of the games i have been playing look much more crisper. Plus I am glad i have more storage after i installed my 2tb ssd from original PS5. Was glad it was plug and play to switch it out. Now i have 4tb in memory.

I absolutely love my PlayStation 5—this console has completely transformed my gaming experience. The speed, the graphics, the immersive gameplay… everything feels next-level. From the moment I turned it on, I knew I made the right choice. It’s not just a system, it’s an experience I look forward to every time I sit down to play.
