The PlayStation never worked, it was a gift for my son’s girlfriend at college so it took a couple of weeks to get it back. I explained this to BestBuy support and they said I could return it with an authorization number they provided. When I got to BestBuy they said it was a number associated with a credit account. I didn’t have this account with them and the only communication I had with them was in regards to the PlayStation. I have screenshots showing the number but they don’t care. They even agreed to help in writing but never followed through. I spent weeks trying to get someone to help me but I just got the run around. ZERO response, no customer service. We had the PlayStation looked at, paid $80 and were told it was a bad GPU. On an item advertised as “excellent like new”. Stay away!

Box arrived just in a PlayStation box no other cover and was a gift for one of our kids so they knew what they were getting for Christmas, also the ps5 box was ripped should t ripped for how much I paid.

Much more manageable for my setup and way sleeker looking than the original. It fits perfectly in my entertainment center without taking up too much space. Performance wise it’s just as powerful as the standard PS5. Games like Spiderman and Marvel Rivals run buttery smooth with fast loading times and gorgeous visuals. The lack of a disc drive hasn’t bothered me at all since I mostly buy my games digitally anyway. Setup was super easy, and transferring data from my old PS4 was seamless. The DualSense controller still feels amazing with all the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers—definitely a game changer. If you’re like me and prefer a smaller console with no need for physical discs, the PS5 Slim Digital Edition is absolutely the way to go. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade their gaming experience!

I turned on the playstation and got it all set up to play and, in the hour that it took to set it up, there was an audible pop from the system and it would not turn back on. I am retuening to Best Buy today for a replacement. Hopefully I will have better luck with that one.
