My wife, who is much better at these things, installed two RAM sticks in my HP laptop, which I use for music recording/processing. The RAM worked as expected. The problem was with the laptop! HP designed it so that you had to basically remove EVERYTHING from inside to change the RAM, even the motherboard.

My laptop was a bit slower since updating to Windows 10. I do tend to have several Firefox windows open with many tabs in each, so not blaming the upgrade. Took 3 minutes to install and reboot in my Toshiba. much quicker now and about the same price as internet suppliers but a real store in case there was an issue.

A MacBook Pro was a gift for my daughter whose PC laptop literally smoked to its death. I put a copy of Parallels Desktop on the MacBook Pro, upgraded the RAM so she could do her company business using either Windows 10 or Mac OS. Both OS's work very well in conjunction with each other with no loss of speed.

I wanted to upgrade my 2012 Mac Mini RAM from 4GB to 16GB using local suppliers (i.e., brick and mortar). Although the PNY RAM did not list Macs as a suitable platform, its specs fit the Mac's requirements. I installed the modules and the Mac sees all 16GB and runs fine.

Upgrading my laptop from 6G of RAM to to 16G cured all the instability issues I was having. I wish I had done it months earlier. I knew when I bought the system that I was sacrificing low memory for other benefits as DRAM is an upgradable feature and now regret waiting so long to do the upgrade.

This RAM Package enable to me to revive a Lenovo laptop that my Daughter used about 4-5 years ago. definitely worthy purchase, was happy I was able to find in stock at the local store- pricey but decided was worth paying a little more rather than order online and waiting a few days.

I bought this for my Dell laptop, the interesting thing I found is that I have to power up the laptop and then install the RAM, then power off and on again. It might refer to the BIOS config but the RAM are working well since then.

I purchased PNY - 16 GB (2PK x 8GB) 1.6 GHz DDR3L SoDIMM Laptop Memory and it was easily installed into my laptop in under 5 minutes with no issues. This upgrade has assisted me with phot editing running smoothly. The product is excellent - thanks Best Buy.

This and an SSD turned what some might consider the low-cost MacBook Pro option into the perfect laptop.

I recently purchased and laptop and it came with 8GB ram sounds good and all but wanted just a bit more. Used in a Dell 7559 which recommended the DDR3L ram be used. The voltage matched the ram so popped it in and presto 16GB.

Exceptional price for them. Had them installed ASAP and quickly noticed a difference in laptop performance.

I was handed a Macbook Pro mid 2012 to use at work which only had 8GB. I installed the modules without any problems. No problems. The OS recognized the memory immediately, and it's been running great ever since.

I needed to upgrade the memory in my APPLE iBookPro in order to run faster, and be more productive in my searches and the like. Because of the memory increase the lap top loads faster and does not slow down to read more data. It has aided in using graphic tools and gaming.

I purchased the additional memory because I was running multiple operating systems on my IMAC. Before I added the memory, my mac was running slower and now it operates like I need it to. By the way, Apple would not sell/install the additional memory and Geek Squad did!

I've owned an HP Pavilion dv7 for years and noticed it was getting a little slow. I purchased this memory on sale at Best Buy and installation was easy, basically removing a small panel underneath my laptop, removing the old memory and plugging this in. Very satisfied!

Upgraded from 2x 4GB ram sticks to these 2x 8GB ram sticks, and my computer (Sony Vaio Flip 15 purchased at Best Buy a couple of years ago) runs my calculations (custom code and larger Excel spreadsheets) noticeably faster. Worth the money versus replacing the machine.

First off to any one getting this laptop memory make sure you need low voltage memory if not you can save a few bucks and get standard voltage. It works perfectly as it should be expected for PNY ram and has a life time warranty so you can't go wrong.

My 4 year old I7 2.3GHz Laptop was running a little slow, (compared to the two new PCs I bought), so I decided on upgrade from 8GB to 16GB of RAM and a Samsung 500GB SSD would speed thing up. Between the increased Ram and the SSD, the PC now screams.

Best choice if you are thinking about upgrading your laptop without buying a new one. If you want to clearly feel the difference, ssd should be the first choice and more ram can be the reasonble option to consider together with ssd installation.
