Upgraded to this memory for a 2012 MacBook Pro. Oddly enough it took a full day for the computer to reach its full potential. But it is soooo much faster now. Very happy with this product. And it was very easy to change it out myself.

I recently breathed new life into my laptop and my daughters by removing the 4gb ddr3 memory which was slower than these sticks. Putting 16gb in as well as an SSD makes both machines run faster than when they were originally purchased.

Title says it all. Brought my laptop up to max memory at a nice affordable price. Is it the best RAM on the market? Almost assuredly no, but if you're running computationally-heavy programs that aren't graphics heavy, this will help you out.

Installed easy and works great. Have had no memory issues since installing this ram.

This product really makes a difference in the performance of my laptop. Most people say that going from 8 gb to 16 gb really doesn't make that much of a difference in gaming performance, but with the laptop i'm using it does.

I purchased this RAM initially for another system but ended up using it in my HP Zbook 15U G2. Works well, definitely faster than the factory 8GB RAM. This is a major improvement with better multitasking capability.

The memory is all I expected and even more. When I asked Geek Squad if they had my memory they said no, so I browsed around store and found it on my own for a bargain!

I wish Best Buy was fast at shipping online items.

I have not had any PNY ram cards malfunction on me yet, and I have been using the pcs and macs that I put them in for years. I just bought these larger ones to enhance my finale cut pro and Microsoft office experience.

I bought this pack for my daughter's laptop that was less than 2 years old. Windows 10 and 6 GB RAM make for slow laptop for college kids... Changed the RAM out with this pack and now it doesn't slow down at all!

Contacted Best Buy for assistance with upgrading my HP laptop and they determined this was the compatible product to increase my RAM. Used the Geek squad to install it and Best Buy price matched. No complaints.

Replaced the original 4 gbytes with 16 gbytes. Worked fine but did not see any noticeable speed increase. Would have gotten the additional 4gbyte module if they have been available. Would have saved some money.

Bought from Bestbuy and popped in to my laptop, started working like a gem immediately after restarting the computer. What else can you ask for from a non-IT or non-tech guy?? Great buy and amazing product.

My iMac kept having error kernels pop up so I ran a diagnostic and found the ram was damaged. Even though it doesn’t specifically say compatible, they are. Fixed my Mac and upgraded the ram.

This is the cheapest and easiest way to upgrade an old laptop. Makes multitasking on your computer run more smoothly. Bonus: try adding an SSD hard drive for even better performance!

My i7 laptop only came with 8gb of RAM, and a lot of things(ahem, Photoshop) were not working well because the RAM kept maxing out. This fixed it perfectly and I no longer have any issues with crashing.

The ram has been used in a number of laptops I have purchased. It's far faster than DDR2 and cheaper. I would highly recommend it due to the speed also being a big improvement on stock ram in most laptops.
