I bought the PNY 16GB (2x 8GB) XLR8 Gaming DDR4 3200MHz CL20 Notebook Memory to upgrade a friend's laptop, and I have to say, I'm impressed with the results. The memory upgrade has transformed the laptop into a gaming beast, with no more lag or stuttering during intense gaming sessions. The 3200MHz speed and CL20 latency provide lightning-fast performance, making it a great choice for demanding applications. Cheap and effective. Better than no name brands put in Hp i3 laptop

I couldn't find information online on whether the RAM had the necessary JEDEC memory profile to run at 3200Mhz on my new laptop. After digging around, I found that info buried on PNY's website on a PDF spec sheet. It lists "Frequency Speed (JEDEC): 3200Mhz (PC4-25600). I went ahead and ordered it and got it installed on the laptop. The RAM registers as 3200Mhz on my HP Omen 15 with a Ryzen 7 4800H. At 3200Mhz, it has the following timings: 22-22-22-52. The stock RAM configuration for this laptop was 2x4GB at 3200Mhz with the same timings. This is an unfortunate limitation on the motherboard on this laptop and apparently a majority of gaming laptops these days, where they don't let you change frequencies in the UEFI / BIOS on the machine nor via software, I originally installed the DDR4-2400 2x8GB kit that was at my local store, also PNY. While having the extra RAM was nice, going from 2400Mhz to 3200 Mhz (a 33% speed increase) gave me noticeably better framerate in games.

Just got this today, installation took less than 10 mins (I had good tools) into my Lenovo IdeaPad 3i, and it works automatically no additional drivers needed installed. Laptop now shows 16gb memory.

This PNY memory does not seem to be compatible with dell Inspiron 17 (7706 2-in-1). I got this pair (2x8GB) and installed it, was randomly crashing my laptop almost every hour. I am going to return it back. I checked Crucial site, they have a system scanner where it can tell if they have a compatible memory. Let us see how that goes, i am still waiting for the delivery.

Works well fits well doubled computers ram. Also added a 2tb samsung ssd its like a new pc. Very fast now

This RAM was an immediate performance boost for my HP Pavilion 15-eh1070xx laptop, greatly improving multitasking and tasks such as photo editing of large format images. Installation was fairly easy and it worked at the full 3200MHz instantly on computer reboot. There are 'faster' DDR4 kits available; but on a laptop you'd be hard-pressed to know the difference. Kudos to BestButy and PNY for a very good value for compatible memory. Kudos to HP for a laptop that is easily user-updgradeable.

Needed to upgrade my gaming laptop was very inexpensive and easy to install took me about 15 minutet.

This memory works as advertised for my use case in a gaming laptop, however depending on the manufacturer and/or motherboard of your system, you might not be able to run the ram at the rated 3200 MHz speed. But otherwise this memory has performed great without any hardware faults.

I was able to install these 2 DIMMS on an HP 15-ef1013dx and got them running at 3200 MHz. DOCP/XMP may need to be enabled in BIOS, but it just works. Surprised this is cheaper than many name brand desktop DIMMs of the same size, but maybe thats because these laptop DIMMs are higher latency.

It's a good ram my games run way way faster its better so much better fortnite runs on my slow computer perfectly
