Adding memory to my computer has made multitasking and transfer of data much faster. Geek squad did a fast job of installing also.

I used this RAM to upgrade my Mac's speed. I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro and it originally had 4GB of RAM. It started to slow down just a little, so I installed 8GB of RAM. Now my Mac is running super fast! Did it myself, so as long as you YouTube how to do it, you will be fine.

On the advice of a supervisor at Apple, I doubled the RAM on my MacBook Pro from 4GB to 8GB. There were several videos online on how to do it. I watched two different ones, and did what they agreed on, including using an ice cube tray to keep the tiny screws from disappearing. Since increasing the memory, programs open more quickly, and some of my problems have gone away. (Other problems were due to a video board, which is now also replaced, but not by me!) Apple's price for putting in their own memory, the only kind they will deal with, was a couple hundred dollars higher than the price of putting in my own. We will eventually replace this with a newer device (it's from 2011), but we won't have to act in haste. Upping the memory is giving us more time to shop around.

I needed a memory upgrade for a laptop. Best buy had the best price and the right item in stock. Buying this item over the internet meant saving a whopping $0.50 and waiting a week. It was worth it to buy at Best Buy. I plan on buying the same memory again for a similar laptop.

I put these in my friend's (who happens to be a doctor) old Dell laptop so he could upgrade to Windows 10. Took it from 2 GB to 8 GB. He is thrilled with the speed and tells me everything works faster now. Just what the doctor ordered.

Bought to upgrade the ram in my older MacBook Pro. It was very easy to install and definitely made my old MacBook run faster. If you still have an old MacBook that allows for the expansion of ram, I recommend this product 100%!

I purchased this pack to upgrade a 4gig All-In-One, but it turned out the AIO had a single 4gig already inserted so I added one from the pack. I actually have 2 AIO so I checked and sure enough the other had a single 4gig stick as well. After installing the second stick in both computers, they both saw a significant increase in speed from more memory (8gigs) and two sticks giving me dual channel. Major speed bump, would do it again.

I've bought this RAM to upgrade my friend's 2011 MAC book pro which was too sluggish after updating to MAC OS Sierra. It was initially equipped with 4 GB RAM 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM. After upgrading to PNY 8Gb 1.6 Ghz RAM, it became as smooth as new. I see no issues with upgrading from 1.3 to 1.6 Ghz. Would definitely recommend users with old MAC book pros.

Upgraded the ram from 4mb to 8mb because the computer and all the new apps made it run very slow. It did make the laptop run faster and my son can run the video editing program without any issues. It was slightly difficult to get the bottom chip into the socket ( I had to reopen the case to reset the chip in the socket), but not at the fault of PNY.

I installed this memory in my MacBook Pro (mid-2012) as well as the Samsung - 850 EVO 500GB Internal Serial ATA Solid State Drive. I watched several videos on YouTube and had no problem installing both by myself (with no prior experience!). It was a smooth installation and I my computer is now super fast!

I installed mine on an older iMac. 4gb to 16gb. Just as good as a new one! Only one issue. I think the bus speed is confusing this CPU into thinking its hotter than it is. The fan is loud as __, but a tolerable side effect to a speedy iMac! (Fix: Shut down, Unplug CPU Power, Wait 15-20 sec, All Set!)

So many laptops use this memory its just a no-nonsense upgrade for next to nothing pricewise. With all the modern 64 bit Operating Systems, 8 GIGs of RAM really is the sweet-spot for performance. Couple this with an SSD and breath years back into your aging computer.

The 8 gb of RAM was used to replace the native 6 gb RAM in my Toshiba Satellite P755-S5380 laptop. When performing memory intensive dynamic formula spreadsheet calculations my Microsoft Excel used to consume the majority of my computer's 6 gb of RAM resulting in the program crashing. After the memory was upgraded to 8gb, similar computations could be completed without Microsoft Excel crashing.

Purchased the Pny - 2-pack 4gb 1.6ghz Pc3-12800 Ddr3 So-dimm Unbuffered Non-ecc Laptop Memory Kit for my HP laptop and it had made an obvious improvement. Easy to remove and install new memory in less than 2 minutes.

Works as intended. Easy to install- truly plug and play.

First lets just get this out of the way. The price is always gonna be higher in a retail store. If you can wait and dont need it instantly save yourself the $15 you could find it online. It works as it should and in dual channel it gives you that little extra boost. If you're on a windows 10 or 7 machine and you don't have 8gb of ram yet, you should instantly upgrade. As a side note not related to this product, if you're running a traditional HDD ( Hard Disk Drive ) id highly reccomend your first upgrade be to a solid state drive instead as it will give you the biggest gains in performance all over the place. Notes: This was installed in an Alienware Steam machine that has been upgraded into an Alphaware Alpha

I increased my RAM from the 6 GB it came with up to 14 GB, 2 below the maximum. Between that and upgrading my SSD hard drive, my ASUS is now blazing fast. Very pleased!
