So when having problems running apps I looked into what was needed to run them. Luckily all I need to do was boost the memory. I had 4gigs but need 6 so I bought two 4s and just like that no more problems. Old chips popped out new ones went in, only took 5 min. It took longer to open the computer than to change the chips. I have had no problems since I put the new ones in!

While I didn't NEED one of these it was a similar price as the one I tried to purchase during the summer and I picked it up. It does exactly what it's intended to do.

good value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My PC only had 6 GB of ram so removed one module and replaced with 2 of these (had empty slot) and was like having a new PC. I actually have had class on pc repair so was easy for me BUT there a plenty of good videos online on how to do this. Thinking of buying another set so I bump it up to max of 16GB and maybe adding a SDD

Great Product - wrong fit

However this time the fit was not right - even though I did my due diligence and thought I had the right stuff, but my computer went critical until I took it out. The problem was the wrong piece of memory not a problem with the memory itself. Would by PNY again.

They have always advised me well and recommended compatible upgrades/accessories.

Good RAM and only one available in person

Can probably find a better price somewhere online for a different brand but this works well and the price wasn't too much different than no name brands online
