After installation, the motherboard recognized it immediately, and the correct timings displayed. Booting to desktop, no issues, perfect for older workstation dell prebuilts that need ddr3. Can't go wrong with PNY, its a known brand.

I have 4 monitors and run photoshop and lightroom on two monitors while watching a couple live streams on the other two monitors, while having close to 20 chrome windows open. It started to yell at me about lack of memory. It doesnt anymore after installing this memory. I'm not pushing its limits, but I have zero complaints

Great upgrade for older computers

I upgraded from 6GB to 16GB by buying two sets of these. two for my computer and two for my wifes computer. I think just about anyone could install them right at home. Word of advice, Do NOT by the two pack of 8GB they are over priced at $169.99 were as they singles are priced at $39.99 each.

Long lasting / hard working

Like a new PC

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a decent Dell XPS but its now about 10 years old, I bought this RAM and a new SSD from BB, and loaded a new copy of windows to the PC, probably saved me a few hundred dollars and now my PC starts up and is ready to go in under 1 minute, very pleased with the results and the help of the person in the store to answer any last minute questions I had.

These last forever

I have one that I made into a bootable drive and use it to load windows on new custom builds. This drive has lasted me 2 years. I think I’m good for a while with 5 more. Lol

Good memory

So if it is to be a stand alone memory then you should be good. I would do some research before expanding current memory with this.
