More RAM

My computer kept crashing so I took it back and was advised by a Geek that my motherboard was failing. I had him remove my 8 GB RAM stick, and I replaced the 4 sticks original to the PC. PC has been working ever since.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i"m reviewing this at 3 stars. 8 gb is sufficient memory if you add it with another 8gb to total up to 16gb. however this is a DDR4 stick so it didn't fit in my pc which was my fault for not knowing the difference. before you buy a ram stick download the program "speecy" on your PC it'll tell you what memory stick you already have so yo know what can fit in your motherboard. Also i recommend talking to the geek squad when purchasing computer parts they are really helpful and know what they're talking about at the very least to a helpful degree to get you understanding things more.

Installation was easy and it was recognized by my pc. However, there was a bigger delay in my computers response time. Not pc savvy so I retuned them as per the details of the memory they were running at the right hz and properly.

DOA - Returned

Dell Inspiron had 8Gb, this would double to 16Gb. Despite confirming the match of memory to the Dell online and with the BBY Store Associate - this memory was not recognized by the Dell. Had to return.

Epic fail

I tested the ram with memtest86 and it failed several tests. Returned and purchased Crucial ram. Tested fine with no issues. Computer has been fine ever since. Avoid! Would rate 0 stars if I could.
