THE WRONG PONY

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the PNY - 8GB 1.6 GHz DDR3 DIMM Desktop to upgrade a system memory, but as it turns out, after testing on a separate computer, the units were not failing. The proper was that I had purchased the wrong type of memory cards. I needed the VENGEANCE 16GB memory cards. In the system I tested this cards and they worked fine, but I did not need them. I traded them for the VENGEANCE 16GB Memory cards. Both types of memory cards are decently priced; I recommend them both.

The kit came with the board, an i5 chipset, and Hyper Fury RAM, which started acting irregular after about 3 weeks. Purchased this RAM and have had zero problems, PNY makes good products!

This memory works fine and has the same specs as the more expensive ones. Being in stock locally was a blessing the day before Christmas

Solved "blue screen of death" Problem

Research on line suggested the ram may need to be replaced. This purchase of ram solved the problem and added more ram to my computer making it even faster!

Works well - the PC is much more responsive now. BestBuy had good pricing. I used in store pickup which is very convenient. Pleased with the process and the results..
