With the help of the store manager I was finally able to obtain the correct memory upgrade for my iMac. It turns out that my model year uses laptop memory and Best Buy came through with exactly what I needed. It was easy to install and the difference in performance was amazing. Thanks to all for a great upgrade.

My Macbook Pro from 2011 was getting to be really sluggish after all of the operating system upgrades. Yosemite was the last straw, as my programs were taking forever to open. I swapped out a 2GB RAM card for an 8MGB, and it made all the difference in the world. Money well spent.

Product was exactly what I expected and allows for my laptop to not run out of ram while numerous programs are open. Was disappointed I got a bad chip the first time but Best Buy replaced it no questions asked. Originally purchased two chips, one good and one bad.

This memory is very easy to install and it made the computer faster as soon as it booted up the first time. Very reasonable price and very easy to install.

Good bandaid fix for my laptop when I was running slow. Milking out an old laptop and the additional RAM was just what I needed to keep from pulling my hair out! My goal is to run my laptop until it dies, so this has been a good addition!

Wow just 7pgrade my laptop to 16 Gb ram... Makes me remember the days (for you old hackers) of having to add the olx ram cards in you e,pansion slots with the massive numbers of dog tics... Sorry you young hackers if you dont understand this...

Great price and worked perfectly. I bought it to upgrade the RAM in my son's laptop. He said the computer immediately began reacting faster. The 8 GB was cheaper than buying two 4 GB and Best Buy price matched their own website.

This product has been useful in the upgrade process of my current laptop. It is reliable an d from trusted brand I have purchased from time and time again. Good quality products from a name-brand you can trust.

It's memory and PNY is a reliable brand. I bought two of these when I purchased and new computer for my parents. Best Buy usually sells it at a good price. If you need more ram don't hesitate to pick it up.

Our laptop had slowed down and become unreliable. Geek Squad was great. He surveyed problem and recommended more ram. Moreover he told us how to install it ourselves. Very happy with product and service.

Upgraded a 2012 MacBook Pro. Did exactly what I expected it to, let me have more open programs at once, load faster, and multitask better. Only regret is getting one 8gb module instead of two 4gbs.

I bought this to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite laptop. It greatly improved the performance. Does what it is supposed to do. The guy at Best Buy that helped me with it was great and very helpful.

So I wanted my MacBook Pro to be faster. So the Geek Squad agent told me to buy 2 of these and new hard drive. Shortly after installing both of these my computer randomly shutoff. I thought, hmm thats weird. Over the course of a month it did this 2 more times. I took my computer in to best buy, told them the problem and they charged me $200 for tech support and then a week later said "theres nothing wrong with your computer, it just needed one update". So i took it home and within a week crashed 2 more times. I finally got around to taking it back in and they told me I had to sed my macbook "out for repair". Which was going to cost even more!!!!! At that point I was pretty furious. Only to do some online research to find out that the Memory I bought is notorious for causing Kernel errors on macs. So i put in my old Memory and bang! no crashing or errors at all. Which would have been great, except for the fact that I'm now down $150 for the memory and $200 for tech support. Anyways, DONT BUY this Product, at least not for a MAC.

Upgraded my macbook pro 2012 to 16GB using two of these sticks. They work flawlessly. Great improvement.

I had recently purchased my laptop but used it for a week and i was on low memory. I purchased this becuase my sister told me she bought one for herself and it was great. And she was right.
