This is definitely a nice thing to have around. The read/write speeds are pretty fast and you can use it for a lot of data. It's also a pretty small drive, very comfortable in the pocket.

Anyone who wants a flash drive to boost CPU memory should simply buy and install more memory. I have 4 PNY flash drives and all of them work flawlessly. I love the 8 gig because I can save huge files without any errors. The largest file on my drive is 1.3 gigs. I am on my way to the store to buy more at the $19.99 sale price.

Great item. Very convenient and very easy to use. Just plug it into the computer and save it to the flash drive. You do not need a lot of computer knowledge to use it. This one holds a lot of files and is small enough to carry in my wallet. Comes in very handy when taking work home to finish.

As a design major, I am always using flash drives to transport my designs and data. Finding flash drives for cheap and that hold a good amount on them is usually not an easy task but this flash drive is a great deal for 8GB of space.

It is what it is. I took it out the package, plugged it into my iMac and started to copy about 5-6 GB of files onto it. Removed it, took it to work, plugged it into my office PC and everything was available. Works fast, works on a Mac and PC. Good product.

This is by far the best drive I've ever owned, I think it's been through the washer and dryer 3 times and it still works fine. If your looking for a durable flash drive this is the one.

So all flash drives are pretty much the same, but this one is cheap and has 8 gb of memory. For the style conscious, it's not so sleek or smooth, but the slightly more rugged appearance is minor and will probably add to its durability.

Works great, reliable, sturdier than most, seems flexible. I couldn't get linux to bootup on it, but it may have just been the netbook hardware itself, not sure.

Nice small compact flash drive with large storage capacity. Have thousands of photo's and use the drive to store/transfer the files. Although it takes a little while to save the files, this product works like a champ!

This flash drive is good for storing almost all kinds of files,if only this thing was more stronger.I lost all my files in a few months,when my computer wouldn't recognize it.Big disappointment to me and that I couldn't get those files back.

The flash drive works great on the computers I have used it on. The cap that covers the end you must remove each time is a hassel.

Within a few weeks of owning this piece begin to snap off and finally the silver connector broke completely off into my laptop. Its not like this was carried around, it set at home on desk. This is definitely not built to last and you can find a usb with twice the storage and a lower price elsewhere.

I bought this from Best Buy while it was on sale for $19.99, so I thought I should pounce on it. It worked great for the 2-3 weeks I had it, but after that, it died. It could not be recognized on any computer (I've tried 5). Pretty much I just spent $20 on a piece of plastic and some metal. There are tons of people having problems with PNY flash drives, just google it. I wish I had done my research before buying this. Don't waste your money. You'll be more than happy with it for a few weeks, but it will die and you will lose all the information you have on it. Don't buy it. Spend a little extra for a better model. Go away from PNY flash drives.

This flash drive is garbage. I had the Geeksquad 8G flash drive, but ended up selling it to a friend because he needed some files on a business trip. He bought this one for me to replace it. Worked fine for about a month, then wouldn't let me add or delete any files because it became write protected. I did a search on the net and found out that this is a known problem with this drive and PNY has done nothing to correct it. All they say is send it in for a replacement. KEEP YOUR SALES RECEIPT for this drive, because you WILL eventually need it. Run away from this thing as fast as you can and get the Geeksquad 8G instead.
