Gets the job done...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew this was a USB 2.0 (slower) but I bought it to simplify video file transfers from my Macs to my QNAP NAS. Does the job well. Good value. Just not as fast as advertised even for a USB 2.0. Out of curiosity I tested SMB, AFP, NTFS & FAT32. All are slow so don't bother... even on one of my Macs on steroids. Also a bit annoying since doesn't stay put when clicked open (retract to expose USB) but is does click shut (and stays shut) so I guess that's not too bad. I can live with it.
