it didn't work out of the box don't know why tried messing with it and nothing

The USB drive is dead slow. Very terrible. Frustating to use this product.

This is a great flash drive! It costs less than the 8GB drive I was looking at, it has twice as much storage space, and it performs wonderfully! I also like the sliding cap that protects the USB connector, it is very simple to use and looks good. The second I plugged this into my laptop, it was ready to work. I recommend this drive to anyone looking for a high capacity/low price storage system.

Fast, easy to install, and reasonably priced. It was on sale as well.

This little usb flash drive is compact. It fits easily into and out of the computer ports. The trouble is the cover for the drive. In theory, the slide open/closed cover is great. In practice, it gets stuck open (much better than shut!) and is difficult to force shut. I keep it open now in my portable hub just so I don't have to deal with this problem. But it would have been nice to have full function of this device. So far, storage capacity seems to be as promised. It is a little slow to store, but it does work. We will see if it saves my data for the long haul. I prefer the KINGSTON TRAVELER drives to this one.

I was a bit apprehensive buying this particular flash drive, since I am not familiar with PNY and have already had issues with "big name" drives. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. The construction may not be bullet-proof, but it is quite rugged for drives in the price range. The complaint that some have cited about the cover being hard to close is, in my opinion, actually a bonus; it makes the entire unit feels more robust in my mind. I have yet to have any issues using this drive on any of a number of computers as well. So far it has been nothing but simple and reliable plug-and-play. You will be hard pressed to find more bytes of reliable flash drive storage at this price!

I've used various brands of storage devices and sometimes returned to certain ones. This USB drive is a pretty simple to use device and is recognized by my laptops or desktop without difficulty.I like the snap back cover for the USB connection and the sturdy case.The main thing that could be added to improve it is to have preloaded software ,like some of the other drives, such as a web browser.Otherwise someone can easily put whatever programs desired.As for the transfer rate of putting files on the drive,it's not shabby.The price is comparable (about average) to more expensive drives.

USB works great but sometimes the plastic part sticks and doesn't slide back easily allowing the USB to be exposed in order to use it and to cover it back up.

PNY products have always worked as they should and seem to last forever. Best Buy had a great sale price on this memory stick.

This 16 gb is very affiordable and good storage for the basic info. The style is also modern and not ugly.

I keep this with me every where I go. You never know when you will need to use one.

I got this to be able to backup videos and music from my cellphone and MP# player.

Great for student going off to college. Made it through first year with no problems.

Great price as it was on sale, convenient and compact but holds a lot of data. No cap is nice but slider sticks randomly and have to force it to slice down to use. Not a big deterrent, however. I would buy it again.

It works great for extended memory for my son's xbox.

Got 3 of these to be able to give copies of wedding pictures to family members. Had over 1500 pictures on each and still had tons of storage space left over. Great price and they made it through postal service system undamaged.
