PNY SSD is very inexpensive and it works great! I use it in my laptops and test -drive for UBUNTU and other OS systems. I had no problems and Windows 10 installed just fine. SSD also makes your computer much faster and gives even older computer "NEW LEGS!"

Cheap, Fast and Durable. If you are looking for quality vs dollar spent, this is the SSD for you. it is fast, durable and it is quite stylish to be honest.

First of all, know that 120gigs WILL be enough for most people. I have all my drivers installed with windows 10 and full Microsoft office and many web browsers and all of this only takes up 17gigs. Get the PNY over samsung or any other competitor because this offers basically the same product but at a much lower price. Finally, know that the 120gig model is the slowest, gives about 280mbps read and write while my 240gig gives 540 read and 515 write so maybe it is worth getting higher capacities but even the 120gig is extremely fast and improves battery considerably.

Adding an SSD to any HDD computer will provide a noticable increase in system performance, and this puppy did just that! Added as my boot drive, and found that that the system just lit up in regards to data responsivness. SSDs are a must!

PNY 120Gb SSD is definitely not a champion when it comes to capacity or speed. But it does solve the system boot time problem: with this SSD configured as a system bootable disk on HP PC with i7 6th gen processor and 16GB RAM the typical boot time is 6 seconds! The access time for most common applications (MS Office suite) also installed on this drive is very impressive. My wife is really happy with this update, and, as you know, happy wife means happy life. So, keeping in mind the price after all, this appears to be a very good deal. Highly recommend!

I have put a few of these in older computers to extend their life and speed them up. It's not the fastest SS drive you can find but it is a great value and plenty good enough to breathe new life in an older computer.

The drive came with serial number and a downloadable link for migration from old HDD to SSD. I'm happy with the speed comparison to old HDD.
