Got lucky one day while "window shopping" at Best Buy hence happened upon the PNY deal for $191. For a terabyte SSD that is a killer deal. It is on clearance btw. Hope they have more when I get my military retirement check next month?

This drive has access to clone software, but the salesman didn't know this. Sold me another product which I returned. Cloning is simple, and I had very nominal loss from the failing drive that was replaced. Fast and reliable so far.

Read and write times are very good. Simple up grade, to make any pc or laptop/ notebook faster. With PNY's drive cloning software you do not need to reinstall your os or loose information. Even a pc noob can do this.

Everything else in your computer is slower than this drive. I put it into a 4 year old laptop and now it goes from off to starting up and having a webpage open in about 30 seconds. Not a single problem.

Installed in my 2012 Macbook Pro and it's excellent. Very fast (huge upgrade over stock HDD). Along with a RAM upgrade this has kept my 6+ year old Macbook working like new!

Plugged it in, loaded a new install of Win 10 and it works great at a nice price. Other SSD's may have marginally better speeds, etc, but I don't know if I could notice it in real life operation.

These work great! They are faster than most models out there for the same price. Heck, they even beat out many higher priced drives!

The drive works great inside an enclosure. I was able to restore 2 partitions from my smaller PNY SSD 500GB using Apple disk utility. Both OSX versions(10.6.8 and 10.8.5) booted up fine in the enclosure. I then moved it to the internal slots; in both the main HD drive bay and an optical bay HD adapter. Neither way booted. I tried resetting the PRAM and every time boot up failed. I then successfully installed a fresh OSX version onto it while the HD was installed internally. Still would not boot. It's supposed to be backward compatible to 3GB/sec and with Macs but I found this not to be the case. My other PNY 500GB (CS1111) works great in both HD bays. It could be a dud but I'm not wasting any more time with it.

Installed this as an upgrade for my boss' desktop. He says it is like a night & day difference between this SSD and his old hard drive. ☺

istalled on my mac book pro , which made it usable , gave it a second life got write spead of 200 + , and read speads of 300 + for the price its awesome

This hard drive seems to be on par with all of my other solid state drives. Not quite as fast as the SanDisk but it is more than fast enough.

This is a m great value product , I got rid of my old 2tb mechanical hard drive and replaced with this SSD...OMG this thing rocks

Installed in Lenovo Y900, huge speed improvement vs stock 5.4k. I would highly recommend it for any laptop running magnetic drive.

I had a good computer but the hard drive was going out. I bought this and now it works better than before. Speed is much better

I love this thing. It works great and so fast. I loaded all my current games on it and they load and play fantastic.

I replaced my 7200 rpm drive with this drive and my laptop loaded 10 times faster and the programs load faster.

I have tried many ssd and this so far is super fast and compatible with different systems

I bought this as a secondary drive for just installing games. this drive is fast and well worth the price.

It does what it supposed to do. We will se how it lasts and performs long term.
