This SSD ended up being noticeably slower than the Samsung 840 I had which it was replacing due to size. While it was probably only 1-2sec difference, it was enough for me to return it and get the Samsung 850 Evo instead. I'm a heavy computer user though with a good system, probably not noticeable for most. I would recommend if coming from a budget SSD already or definitely from a mechanical drive.

Easy to install and software provide worked flawlessly.

If you plan on using this as an external drive like me just keep in mind that the Samsung T3 drives are more convenient and faster but also more expensive. I've used this drive as an internal drive for a PC laptop as well as my PS4 Pro. I am very happy with the drive. No issues or errors so far. This drive gets constant use.

I was looking at this SSD verses the SanDisk Ultra II 960. Very comparable for the price. I would give it 4.5 stars. I docked 1/2 star because the migration software is ehh. Acronis offered free upgrades but then you have to pay for the cloning feature. The initial free version via download came with a cloning option but I would get errors. I found a free one on CNET and that was the end of it. So far, it running as expected for an SSD. Quick bootup.

I'm glad I picked this up. The overall price to value was excellent. My only concern was the data transfer software. It was horrible but fortunately I was able to download something on line for free that was easier to use. It takes about 5 secs for my laptop to boot up and the rest is history.

Great product overall. I installed this ssd in my MBP and booting into OS X is faster than ever.

Good replacement to an original HHD in a MacBook Pro. I would however always suggest keeping backups, I had another SSD fail on me not this brand but makes me a bit leery about all SSD's. The speed on this SSD is great however, if you are looking for performance this really helps!

I bought this for a Windows Server class I was taking. It was blazing fast for installing and running my servers. After a few days the drive crashed and the operating system was not recognized. I formatted the drive and my system would no longer recognize it. I've used PNY before but this was definitely a disappointment.

My boyfriend is amazing and knows about all this stuff. He did his research and talked to friends to find out about this product. My computer has done a complete turn around. No more getting frustrated and waiting. Specially since I do online schooling. It's amazing!!

You cannot go wrong with upgrading to a SSD drive with any PC that is out there. I have upgraded 10 PC's from the spinning mass type to the latest SSD drives and everyone of the PC's speed improved greatly.

Has made the computer Load faster and the hard drive is quick and fast. It is very stable of a unit and can be erased and reloaded without trouble.

Wow, you almost could not ask for a better drive. It feels very high quality, went in and runs perfectly. Highly recommended and it has great specs!

This SSD will do exactly what you hope. If you are still using a mechanical hard drive, you'll notice a huge difference in speed right away.

I needed more space as I am in school and have programs and a lot of documents that I'm using. I am satisfied with the product.
