Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally was looking at replacing a failed 2TB 7200rpm drive with the same type, but recent price drops with SSD's got me to to look at them again. This one was significantly lower priced than the comparable Samsung and seemed to get decent reviews on various sites so I made the change. WOW am I glad I did. System is SO much faster in response and showing me what the full potential of the system is. Don't think to hard at this price, just go for it!

I bought a budget Lenovo i3 laptop and installed this with the money I saved. Now I boot up in exactly 12 seconds flat, from pressing the power button to entering the 'PIN' to unlock my desktop - no exaggeration. I time it every time, and I'm so impressed. Shuts down instantly too. Really nice.
