Never a formatting problem with PNY devices, the sliding cover is a plus to protect connecting end when not in the computer. Well-made and reliable.

I bought this to use on my PS5. Unfortunately it didn't work for the intended use. PS5 requires a minimum of 250gb, but this registered only 248gb of available space. It will come in handy for other data transfers though, at such a high capacity for my PC, I'm sure it will be useful. Great price for high storage capacity!

I am often away from home for extended periods of time so this flash drive is perfect for taking files and photos with me that I may need to refer to or work on while away. I simply transfer anything I might need from my main computer to this flash drive and when I get to my destination, I can access whatever I need and put it on my laptop to work on. Or, I can plug it into a friend's computer if I want to share photos or documents. I recently scanned several albums of family photos, put all the photos on this flash drive and was able to transfer them to other family member's computers or burn all of the photos to a disc so that everyone in the family has copies of these family treasures. Some of the photos were very old and the album pages were beginning to deteriorate. The photos have been saved in the nick of time and will be passed on to other family members for years to come. Many of the photos can be enhanced, repaired or made larger for prints. Family members can also transfer several albums at once to their own flash drives. The size of this flash drive allows you to scan each album page and include several albums and keep them all on this one drive.

Was looking for a fast but compact flash drive to use for work. Something that I could keep safe and secure.price was great and works flawlessly.

I was looking for affordable and reliable usb and PNY thumb drive fits the bill prefectly for my needs. Dependable storage and good performance at afforable pricing. I was going to use this for watching moive on my smart tv after I downloaded and boy do I download moives all the time, Has good transfer rate speed and ample storage for my needs.

This device is a great value. Perfect size, great speed and capacity. Great for routine backups, file sharing or archival storage.

Large amount of storage for great price, purchased on sale so even better. Works perfectly and small size for portability can keep in my pocket at school

I haven't used this item much, just a few times so I can't really give a through review on it's reliability for long term use but so far I have not experience any problem and this is a few months later after my initial purchase. I was surprised at the price, especially since this is a USB 3.0 device (Note; most of the USB flash drives were on sale at time of purchase) Transfer speeds are great, much better than USB 2.0. If and when this device fails I'll update this review so you will know how long my lasted. (That is, of course if I remember I made a review indicating I would do so! )

Bought it for extra storage and uploads/downloads quickly and easy to use. Would recommend owning one.

This is a good product and it has served the purpose for which I bought it quite well. It's a good size and was not too expensive.

This unit is awesome. I managed to cram 6 season of a show I’m currently watching in HD quality as well as a season of an anime with its accompanying OVAs. It’s snappy and have had no issues accessing the content that was loaded. For the money I would recommend this 100%!

This is a great drive. I connected this to my Router's USB port and using it as Network drive accessible by all devices mobiles, windows laptops, iPad and mac. Access is quite fast. It is always ON and that is wonderful - over shared drives exported from each computing device. A few issues which you may want to know. It is not possible to get Properties of the device (like storage used and available) from Laptops and other devices - always shows 0 Bytes used and 0 bytes available. I think this is a problem with the NetGear Router and how it exports the USB drive into the network. Not the flash drive problem. Similarly, I am not able to access the device from more than one iPad at the same time. Again something to do with Apple and the Netgear Router. There are few other issues in my usage context, but do not think it is the problem with the Flash drive. I am stating these, so if you plan to to use the Flash drive as a shared network drive, this can serve as a heads-up. I am very happy with the Flash Drive and has been working flawlessly for 6+ months now.

i don't have any issue with the performance. just a little bit struggle when keeping it because the cover is a little bit hard to push all the way but can be done with some patience.

Who would believe so much could be stored on this "small" drive?! My husband and I are upgrading our laptops to Windows 11 and this drive is making both backup (pix, docs, videos) and time spent on backup fast and easy.
