Some smaller mem devices use up some of your space with the operating system. But this was a good buy! I've owned it for 3 months and no issues.

I have several of small storage size paying around the house, various things on each one, not very organized. Now everything is on one drive! Great performance (USB 3.0 is FAST!) and it works great on my Chromebook too!

It performs well using btfs and the 3.1 USB port on the laptop. I get good response times and I can't tell I'm running off USB.

The USB 3.0 makes a major difference in transferring files and for under $50 on sale this product exceeds expectations. Should be another once it hits under $50 again!
