I use them to back up photos music and documents. I have had no issues. My computer has 3.0 USB ports and it really speeds things up. Tip: To uncover the tip, I hold the drive with the description up in one hand with my thumb and forefinger holding the narrow sides, then using the same fingers on my other hand push the cover.toward your other

I consistently get about 12-15MB/sec during writes (and this is during backups with numerous small files, which are typically slower as well). I certainly wouldn't expect this to be doing 4K video writes in real time, but it's reasonably fast for pretty much anything else you'd be using it for. Not a bad price for a 128GB drive.

Best cheap 256 gb

To be honest. I have no issues with it and it stores pretty well. I wish the key ring would be a little better on it so I can put it on my keychain but all in all it’s a perfect USB stick.

Plastic cover slides forward to cover end when not in use. Back of plastic cover just large enough to affix sticker with title and brief description of contents. End of flash drive has small hole to affix lanyard. Also was on sale!
