I always use flash drives to transport and save my work. I have lost too much data on devices that have died to do it any other way. This one is still going strong and serving me a I expected.

I have used many portable external storage drives including, Western Digital's Passport brand, up to 2 TBs. This PNY works seamlessly with my HP, Dell and Lenovo laptops and desktop. I have had no issues on uploading or downloading date. My only issue has to do with the external sliding design which exposes the actual USB insert port. I find this slide design cumbersome. If you don't grip the device properly on insertion the slide can move on insertion and make it difficult to insert the device into the USB slot without re-gripping the device. This takes some getting used to. This issue does not actually detract from the operation of the device, it is simply a little of a hassle on insertion and after some practice you get used to it. I would rate the device 4 stars out of 5 solely because of the "slide" issue. Otherwise--the device functions as you would expect and I am happy with it.

Works great. Fast transfer speed. Helps carry multiple long movies / large list of high quality audio files.

Stores 128 Gb of data or music! Lots of room and runs well in either USB 3.0 or 2.0.

Needed something that was large enough to place back ups on and that was portable. Just plugged it in and off and running. 3.0 made back up quick.

I got this because I needed extra space for my surface pro 2 which only has a 128 gb hard drive and it was cheaper than buying a 32 gb one. Great purchase!!!

What a time we live in where this size thumb drive cost so little. I used to buy multiple thumb drives on Black Friday so I had plenty in school, now I just need the one. And transfer speeds are fast.

this product is a great size for external storage. I like the way the cap closes to protect the usb connection. I like the fact it is 128 Gb.

I was able to purchase this PNY flash drive at a great price after my local Best Buy store had matched Amazon's deep discount on the item. The drive has worked flawlessly, and I've been impressed with its speed. I had always used SanDisk drives in the past, but I'm glad I gave PNY a try.
