It truly helps for backing up documents for safe keeping.

So far they both work very well and are fast. Admittedly, I put them through some relatively light use so far. I used them to transfer photographs and word field between the laptops. I don't know how will they perform when I use tehm to transfer larger files. One was a bit sticky and took a bit of effort to get the connector out. Now it it can be slid in and out without problems.
