    I bought this to do backups on. It really works great for the new Asus Laptop I bought. I figure this will last for a while, because I am Mac guy and only use the Asus to program radios.

    I got the PNY Elite Turbo Attache 4 USB Flash Drive on sale at Best Buy. It works well, it's USB 3.0 so the transfer speeds are pretty good and meets my needs.

    Only actually 230gb. I reformatted it to fat32 to use in my car so that would have got rid of any preloaded software that might be taking up space
