    Meets my expectations

I was looking for a replacement graphics card for an Alienware X51 small form computer. It has some very specific requirements as far as power and size are concerned. Amazingly some GTX 960 cards use too much power and are too big to fit into X51 computer but PNY - GeForce GTX 960 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 is a perfect fit. So far I had no problems with it and the improvement from my GTX 660 in both FPS and details is significant. Older high-end games like Batman: Arkham Asylum run on full detail at 1600x1050 at 60 FPS 98% of the time and the other 2% of the time it drops to 58FPS. Newer games like Dragon Age: Inquisition will do a solid 45-50FPS at high settings (1600x1050), you can tweak it for 60FPS without significant loss in quality in most locations, except towns, where there is a lot of people. Still, there is a HUGE difference as compared to medium settings with GTX 660.

    Glorious GTX 960

Note: Images of Metro Last Light and Left 4 Dead 2 are in full 2K @2040x1152 image quality. Upgraded from my EVGA GTX 750 SC 1GB to this card and it meets my needs and then some. I can play all my games so far at a 2k resolution of 2040x1152 on Windows 10 professional with no issues. Left 4 Dead 2 plays max with 8xMSAA @100+ FPS. Metro Last Light play at high settings @80 to 100 fps, mostly 95 to 100 fps. Other games like Tera plays like a champ. Overall, I'm very satisified with this graphics card. Its a bit slower than the GTX 770 by 12% according to game debate but once overclocked it can match the GTX 770's stock performance which is a high-end card the GTX 770 is. So in short, if not willing to buy the GTX 970 or 980 then I suggest the GTX 960 100%. Yes its no where near the GTX 970 and 980. Yes, it has a 128 bit bus like the GTX 750 but its a very very powerful card. My system specs are below Intel Penitum G3240 Dual Core @3.1Ghz PNY GTX 960 2GB OC Edition from Best Buy 1.28 Terabyte of HDD Storage 6GB of 1600mhz ram Thermaltake TR2 430 Watt PSU from Best Buy

Lots of new games coming out the holiday season. If you need to upgrade, this card is perfect for these games. High FPS and high rez! DDR5 Ram, overclocked, and supports 4K = perfect for under $200.

Everything on it runs as smoothly as you'd expect. It is allot bigger than I actually thought it'd be, like even the box deceives you on how big it is, but it runs games at higher quality than allot of the older graphics cards could. My only problem with it was the installation. The CD it gives is a lie, or it at least didn't want to read my graphics card as the one that it came with. If you have the same problems, you will have to go onto the Nvidia website, go to Drivers, Geforce Drivers, then install Geforce Express to actually install the graphics card. But after you get the installation done, you are in the end game and will have all your games running on high quality! Plus it's fairly cheap which is always a bonus.

Runs cool and quiet. The nvidia software that comes with the card is very easy to use and is very helpful in keeping up to date with drivers. The card will run any game on the market at max settings. For the money this card gives you the most bang for the buck.

Maybe its my inexperience with video cards but this thing is huge and I didn't think it would fit inside my PC but it did with no problems, very easy to install myself. My son can now play online games at the highest graphic settings that wouldn't even run before on the lowest settings.

So far this card has not failed so there is that to consider. I am able to run at 1920 x 1080 at a fairly stable and high Frames Per Second rate averaging around 50FPS. This is towards a game called warframe which is free to play. I have 32 GB of ram, intel core i5 3.40Ghz quad core using DVI monitors having the games on SSD's. Arma 3 (Extremely High demanding game) I am able to run better thanks to this graphics card but it still a demanding game. Overall I'm glad I got this product, got tired of the lacking performance of the 700 series and decided to give the 900 series a try since I've heard so many good things and here I am agreeing.

This was an upgrade to a almost 4 year old card, so I really did notice a performance increase. It took me a little time to get the card to be stable with my particular PC setup. Once I did, it worked great. The card is a great value for the price.

The Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 graphics card can turn even an older PC such as mine (over three years old) into a gaming machine capable of handling the most recent games (such as Grand Theft Auto 5) at the highest graphics settings with astonishing speed! Highly recommended - probably the best graphics card in its price range.

I needed to upgrade my old card (not going to say what generation it was, but it was definitely time) and I got this one as it seems to be a good compromise between cost and performance. It's made a huge difference. Since I was already running an nVidia card before, there was very little to do as far as updating drivers.

I was getting disconnected from some games due to insufficient video card power with a GTX 650. After upgrading to this card, all graphics on all games could be played at Ultra or High settings on all games and everything was smooth and consistent. Just what the doctor ordered! This is the best graphics card in the under $200 price range. Enjoy.

Plays most of the titles at great FPS. The next card in the upgrade, the GTX 970 costs almost twice as much - this card should not be slighted, it's performance, when boosted beats most other cards in its price range. The only problem (not with the card) was that the package came without the DVD, no DVI-to-VGA adapter and no 6 pin PCIe to Molex power adapter. It seems likely this was a returned item. I fault the Best Buy clerk for not checking the contents before replacing it on the rack. The card gets 5 stars, careless packaging drops it to 3.

    Gtx 960

I had brought a gaming computer but the card that came with it was a low end Amd card, one that was not up to speed with current games. I read reviews on the 960 and decided to go for it and it was only 199 plus tax. I enjoyed the card and it went well with my new monitor, an HP 27 inch 1080p. Games look great but I notice some newer games still were not as smooth at high settings that I liked. I ended up returning the card and brought an Gtx 970. Even though it cost 100 more it was well worth it as all the games I have tried so far are buttery smooth. The Gtx 960 is great at mid to high settings depending on the game but will struggle with games coming down the pipeline in 2016.
