    I got this to replace an aging 512MB video card. I also wanted an HDMI option for a new monitor I got. This worked perfectly and fit into an old PCI slot I wasn't using. It is very quiet and the HDMI looks great!

    purchased to upgrade on-board video in a desktop - installation was pretty simple (once I was sure I knew what to do) and results were very good (graphics score went from 1.0 to 5.6, gaming graphics to 6.8) - all in all a very good purchase...

    Product performs better than expected and is superior in design and quality. PNY Technologies is definitely in the top 1% for quality and support. I'm not easily impressed, but this company knows what consumers want in computer graphics.

    I bought this card for use with the Blender 3D software. The card does a decent job of running the software. Setting up the screen resolution was rather frustrating, but I got a setting that was acceptable. Having the 3 different display adapter types (VGA, HDMI, and DVI) is a plus, as it allows for versatility. I haven't used the card for gaming, although the manual states it can do so. All in all, a satisfactory card for my use.

    Using this in my HTPC to watch 1080p movies and it works great. Passing the card through to a virtual machine and is a huge improvement over the previous HD6450.
