I have great luck using PNY memory in the past as they have never failed. I would definitely recommend. This is exactly what I needed. Due to clearance issue with my cpu cooler I couldnt use the newer (cool?) styled memory as it wouldnt fit. This did fit perfectly and was recognized up the system at reboot. Adding memory is the easiest way to upgrade your system. But before adding I would suggest you review these 3 questions when considering upgrading; 1) Make sure your motherboard supports the amount of memory you want to add and whether it uses dual channel or not. 2) If using Windows - make sure you have 64 bit system, as 32 but will only use 4GB of memory even if you have more. 3) Make sure what memory your system is using as they are not backward compatible due to the different pins. (DDR2 (old), DDR3 (not as old), DDR4 (current). I would suggest running speccy (free download) that will give you all your system info such as motherboard, hard drive (and temps), memory specifics, graphics, etc.

This memory works like a champ! I popped out the old memory cards and inserted these to double my memory. I post-process photos in Photoshop and needed the extra memory in my Dell XPS desktop system. The whole process took about a half hour. Turned on the computer, checked the memory and BAM! - the memory was doubled!

Needed more RAM for my desktop PC. Picked these up after reading good reviews online. Easy to do and results are a way more faster experience when having lots of windows open at once.

This was a great replacement to the original memory that came with my HP envy desktop computer. It made the computer run faster and was easy to install.

Used this to upgrade a work computer, it worked. I put this on a system with the same speed and type places of ram. I think it worked just as well as the Samsung ram that was already in my system.

If you saw the intro above and answered yes, then you must get this RAM!!! What an amazing piece of hardware! This has taken my old slow PC with a quad core processor and taken it to a whole new level!! It out performs my brand new i7 with 32GB of RAM by a long shot!! How did they do it? I don't know, I'm not an engineer, but I can tell you, do not throw out your old PC. Just plug in this new RAM and enjoy the fastest computing experience you've ever had!!

What can I say, it is a 16 gig memory upgrade. It worked as expected in a somewhat aging HP h89-1234 that I actually bought at Best Buy several years ago. Upgraded the machine from 10 gigs to 24 gigs of memory. The memory upgrade was easy to install and the machine recognized it immediately. I probably could've found something cheaper online, but it was nice to be able to just buy it right there at the local Best Buy and install it in my machine that evening without having to hassle with online ordering and shipping.

Adding quality matching RAM is easily the cheapest yet most effective way to quickly add “power” to your PC. PNY is definitely quality RAM and in less than five minutes I quadrupled the amount of memory my machine was working with and it made a very noticeable difference. Thanks BestBuy!

Computer needed a bit more speed for when I had multiple windows open (and listening to music). Anticipated it was going to cost a bit but thought it would be worth it. Couldn't believe the price for 16GB. Geek Squad guy said it was X dollars and I thought he meant per 8 GB and it was for all 16. Great deal.

I simply wanted to increase my RAM, so I swapped out my old RAM in my desktop. I had no issue whatsoever replacing my old sticks with this new RAM. I have not had a single problem whatsoever and would highly recommend this product. Extremely easy to complete.

Good quality memory for a fair price. Installed easily, works fine, no problems. It is possible to find cheaper off-brand memory online, but this is a good price for name brand memory. It is backed by PNY and Best Buy, and was conveniently available in-store.

First time buying RAM for my desktop. Followed the directions of the Best Buy representative; most importantly to keep myself grounded during the install. Installation was simple and the product worked as advertised the first time I booted up the system.

I had desktop machine running Ubuntu on it. It was initially having only 4 GB RAM with which it was running so slow. So I plan to upgrade it to 16 GB as the two slots can support 8 GB each. So I bought a Pair of Samsung RAM through Amazon through third party vendor. But one of them didn't work. So I returned it and bought this through BestBuy. The installation was easy and without any trouble. It has been more than 3 months now and it's working as expected without any problem. The BestBuy agent help me to make sure the pair I am buying is suitable with my desktop or not. Thanks to him.
