Read and Write speeds are very very very good for a flash drive, but as usual, the published spec is quite overstated. Oh well, I think we're all used to that nonsense. Anyway, it's a good flash drive.

For the longest time, the 256 GB drive was considered the "gold standard" for solid state storage. But so far, I've almost packed this beauty to the gills and it's still going strong!

PNY Drive

It is a little more costly but a heavy-duty drive and I wanted something that was going to stand up to the everyday elements. I highly recommend this unit from Best Buy.

It works and is reliable

The transfer rate is quick and with 512gb, there’s plenty of room. I’ve had zero problems with this device and it gets used a few times a week.

I had a large amount of data I wanted to secure in my bank safety deposit box for safe keeping. This is ideal for the purpose. Just put it in a ziplock bag in a airtight tin or bottle. Task accomplished.

By using this 512 G USB drive I have tripled my storage without any big purchase. I still have external hard drives which I download my files to but not every day. With this USB drive I can do daily backups with ease.
