Overall the performance of the 2070 is fantastic and with the influx of Real-time ray tracing being the future of gaming it's always good to know you are equipped to tackle the change.

There are a faster video cards, but this one is still plenty powerful. Stellar 1080p performance and modest 1440p performance as well.

Loud fans, but a good OC'able 2070

This is the faster, non binned A107 chipset for the 2070, which simply means its overclockable. The fans are very loud when they spoil up to full speed, but they keep the card at a decent 70c (at my maximum stable OC of 2172mhz. Gotta love silicon lottery) But thats a very big leap from the stock OC boost clock of 1700 mhz. It's better performance than a 1080TI for literally a fraction of the cost, and you can hit stock 2080 clock numbers with a good overclock on this 2070

I'm running this graphics card with a sim that is extremely graphic intensive. Even in the most heavily congested areas, there is no lag or reduction in FPS.
I installed the card myself and went with the HDMI cable as the VGA cable I had didn't want to work.

Purchased this after reading a lot about the coming games. Replacing a Nvidia 1070 Founder Edition. Have seen quite an improvement with my games and looking forward to what can be done with the RTX.

I installed this as a replacement for my 2GB card in a three year old HP desktop. I had to install a more powerful power supply also. It runs 7 days to die on highest graphics settings smoothly. I am very happy with this card.

Pros
Good price (300 at the time of purchase)
Ray tracing, though yet to see what more games will support this
Decent coolers, better than stock, not quiet as good as water based
Cons
Not a whole lot of goodies
Older tech as the rtx super versions are out and amd cards are now competitive

seems ok... Battlefield 5's video card detection software auto set all video card settings to "medium". Strange... I was told that the card was probably too new for game to detect. Also have sound problems with Battlefield 5. Not sure if any of this is the card's fault.

Decent performance for the price paid. The fans do make a bit more noise than models with larger cooling systems - but certainly not as loud as others I have experienced over the years.
