It is really a remake where they are playing with options for the future and others. It plays really well actually, there are aspects that I like better and some that I miss. Maybe a bit easy but a decent intro game. Very happy.

Our family plans Pokemon Go together, so it seemed natural to pickup Pokemon Let's Go for Switch. I haven't really played it much myself, but I've watched my son play it quite a bit. He's 9 years old, and he loves it. The graphics are good, and it seems to play s lot like the mobile game. Which is to say, it seems a little simplistic to me for a switch game, but again, he loves it. It is also cool that you can transfer Pokemon from the mobile game to the Switch game. But we haven't actually gotten to that yet, as there is only 1 location in the game where this can be done. I think I'll give the game a try if I can find the time. In the meantime, it'll be entertaining my son. Also, we were interested in the Pokeball Plus (?) accessory, but at $50, seems way too expensive to me.

Well I like the game in general. The only thing I don’t like about it is the fact that you can’t even battle wild Pokémon’s except for a few select ones. You have to catch them like you would in Pokémon Go. That’s how your Pokémon gain experience and level up. So no wild Pokémon fighting.
On the other hand, you can avoid wild Pokémon’s because you can see them walking around. I thought that was pretty cool.
But other than that, it’s a good game. I enjoy playing it on my free time.

Faithful to the recreation I am in love with this game. Might be a bit too easy but am hearing endgame content is challenging.

The graphics are amazing but no wild pokemon battles, it's more like pokemon go or the safari in the older games

Its so cute! I love the original Kanto region and now its in full hd with colors and 3d pov. I missed team rocket so much! Great game super nostalgic. Its just a game you love and fall asleep to the pokemon music they got in the background. I still haven't finished the game cause i keep falling victim to the good music and fall asleep!! Lol love it

Got this game because it’s connectivity to Pokémon go but it’s quite fun on its own. To simply put it, it is a really epic game. As someone who played the first Pokémon games in their very early childhood, it’s nice to see how vibrant and colorful the landscapes and Pokémon appear in a full 1080p HD television compared to its very early counterpart of the late 90’s video game handheld.

pokemon yellow was one of my favorite games growing up so it was a no brainer to pick up the switch remake. the newly added pokemon go mechanics for catching pokemon are frustrating at times but also extremely rewarding when you land that pokeball. it's not the best game for people looking to play co-op but there are moments when it's nice to have a player two by your side to help you battle and catch those rare and shiny pokemon.

I remember playing the original Red/Blue/Yellow back in middle school and have loosely kept up with the series over the past 20 years playing at least one game of each generation. Reliving Kanto in a 3d environment and hearing all the classic songs revamped gave me chills the first time. This game is an easy 80/100 as a stand alone title, but if you have nostalgia on your side it boosts it up to near perfect. I rate it 95/100

Some people may dislike the ball throwing mechanic for catching wild pokemon but there are still plenty of trainer battles and the graphics and scale of pokemon out in the wild are great

I grew up in the 90s and loved the world of Pokemon. This game brings back the traditional Pokémon game with new graphics and new ways to play: battles still happen, but instead of battling Pokémon to catch them, they use the same method as Pokémon Go by throwing a pokeball. Shiny Pokémon are still in the game, and some other fun surprises. Overall, I really enjoyed a game that reminded me of my childhood.

Love the game, but prefer the originals. Game doesn’t allow you to level up by fighting in the wild. Only catching more Pokémon which requires a lot of poke balls which you have to earn a lot of money for. Eventually you get short on money and there’s not to many events to continue doing after your at a certain point.
