Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about Pokémon X's gameplay, particularly the 3D graphics and the fun factor. Many appreciate the game's ease of use, compelling storyline, and the introduction of Mega Evolution. Positive feedback also highlights the enjoyable new Pokémon and the reasonable price point. However, some players found the game's difficulty to be too low.

I have just started playing Pokemon X, but I am really enjoying it so far. It is a great Pokemon game. I especially love being able to pick it up and play it for a few minutes and then set it aside when need be. If you are a fan of Pokemon, you need to play it. If you are new to Pokemon, you can definitely pick this game up too.

I haven't enjoyed a Pokémon game this much in years. I've personally put over 900 hours into this game. The switch to from 2D to 3D was a great move from Nintendo, and really gives things a fresh new view. The battle animations are astounding, and the cries of all of the Pokémon have been updated. There's also a decent amount of customization for your character. This game has added only 70 new Pokémon, but to balance that, Nintendo has added a new Fairy type and changed some of the older Pokémon to take advantage of this change. There really is too much for me to write in this review, so I'll just say if you're a fan of Pokémon, even just a casual fan, you can't go wrong with this game.

I'm new to the Pokemon franchise, so can't compare the experience to earlier games. Have had a lot of fun playing Pokemon X though. It is tailored to make it pretty easy for newcomers to get into the game, it's fairly easy to understand what you need to do, and anything not in the game is well documented online. Seems to be enough to keep playing and exploring for quite a while even after the main storyline is completed. If you got into all this via Pokemon Go (like me) but feel like you want to dive deeper, this is a good one to start with. (I've been told Alpha / Omega is equally good but have not tried them yet.)

Pokemon X (and Y) is one of the best games in this age old RPG series. With advanced graphics, big changes in gameplay and a new (ish) storyline and region to explore, the game offers new players and veterans alike, a fun, fun adventure!

Was looking for a game for my son to play on our vacation trip. He loves his Pokemon cardds and wanted the game. He beat the first levels pretty quickly and was very happy with that and it has continued to keep his interest for weeks after the initial purchase.

I got back into Pokemon for the first time in fifteen years. Generation six is not so different from the generation one and two games that I played in the past, yet they have so many different things that they are definitely a new experience.

This game truly redefines the Pokemon universe. There is no going back to old Pokemon games after this. From the stunning graphics to little things like the team-wide Exp. Share, this is by far the best Pokemon game Nintendo has ever made!

This is a great pokemon game for those who played the original red blue and yellow as it is setup a lot like them and is a slower paced game like they were. With that being said it modernized and has all of the updated pokemon to catch.

This was on my nephew's Christmas list and his eyes lit up as soon as he opened it. While I had to go to 2 stores to find this in stock, I did find it at the location I count on on transit rd in wiliamsville- they make shopping easy.

This is actually my first time owning a Pokemon game and I gotta say it's really addicting! I think I've gotten about half way through because I can't stop playing! Definitely will be getting some more of the Pokemon games!

I have Pokemon Y, bought it after it came out, my son has been begging me for a new Pokemon game for his 2DS, so when the newer titles were released this title dropped to $19.99. A STEAL! Cant wait for him to open it on Xmas. Game play is fun for all ages, the story line is addictive, easy to pick up where you left off...even if its been weeks or months. But its addictive like all the Pokemon games. If you never played one of these games this one is worth the try.

    Best Pokemon game

The best pokemon game yet especially when it comes to the end game content. Online features have improved. Match modes of rotation, set order, 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, traditional 6 party team. Random trades supported within about 30 seconds of request which is a good way to possibly obtain rare pokemon from generous pokemon breeders. Battle tower end game mode is more challenging than past games which is a good thing. Otherwise if you've played a pokemon game before, the general feel of the storyline will not be surprising. There are more interactions with reoccuring NPCs in the game but nothing exceptional.

Haven't played a Pokemon game since Pokemon Yellow back in the day. Decided to pick this one up to play with my daughter. Pokemon hasn't skipped a beat. Still one of the best handheld RPG's money can buy.

This is your typical Pokemon game; battles, catching, and exploring a game full of pocket monsters. Even though 50 new pokemon were added, I loved playing this for the mega forms.

I've been in love with Pokemon since Sapphire/Ruby came out for the GameBoy Advance, and have played every Pokemon game except Black 2/White 2. I had to sell my DS Lite a couple years ago, and sold all my games with it. Bought the 3DS XL after a great sale and bought Pokemon X & Y at the same time as my 3DS XL. This game is just as fun as every other Pokemon game, and I loved finally returning to the world of Pokemon. However, thanks to O-Powers and long gaps between gym leaders, the story became super easy and the pokemon were able to level up incredibly fast. This took a bit away from the story, as I was able to breeze through it because of its lack of challenge. There isn't as much to do post-Elite Four either, which also lowers play time. By far not the best Pokemon game, but still very fun and enjoyable.

This was a great game probably better than some of its recent predecessors. Tons more to do, wider variety of catchable pokemon, and not watered down with legends so slightly more challenging.
