I purchased this video game as a "just cause" gift for my young son. He loves the game, I let him spend one day during Thanksgiving break playing it, and he had so much fun.

The graphics are really good, and its fun to play and watch the show, lots of characters show up in the game. And now Nintendo is giving away Legendary Pokémon every month, so even better.

The Pokemon series continues with a complete update of the game engine to create a lush experience for gamers. Everything you loved about the classic games just gets better, but the hero character selection at the start leaves a little to be desired--the anime aesthetic is a bit much here, but the overall look of the game makes up for this.

I've played most of the Pokemon games in the series, including the puzzle games, and I have to say this is right up there with the amount of content and story. I really like it and the graphics upgrade is amazing. I'm hooked playing it (averaging 4.5 hours per sitting!) and I don't see me getting bored with it any time soon. There's a lot to explore, a fun storyline and new additions that make it feel really fresh. Great game and I can't wait to catch 'em all!!!

It is plain and simple. If you have liked past Pokemon games, then you will like them. If you don't like them, play this, fall in love with it. Beware, once you enter, there is no escape.

Bought both X and Y. So fun to play that I would reset the game and play it again, over and over. Different gameplay from the other versions of pokemon games, but still really fun.

I bought this game for my 8 year old nephew and he absolutely loves it! Lot of fun cool tricks to learn and awesome graphics. I think this is a game a child of all ages can enjoy.

This is another great pokemon game it's simple to pick up and play for a little while, there is a ton of content in here for you to go through and should keep you busy for a while.

Bought this for my 10 year old son for Christmas, he was excited and has been playing it since. Bought it in store, BestBuy.com had it on sale so they price matched themselves.

I've really enjoyed this game. My husband and I both wanted to play, but didn't want to buy another 3ds system, so we have one copy of X and one of Y. Works out wonderfully!

You can have hours of fun battling others on-line or individually. There are always new pokemon to catch or breed and a variety of ways to make them what you want them to be.

My kids have been playing Pokémon since they were little. They love this game and are having fun. The graphics and interface look much nicer than earlier games.

If you've played Pokemon games in the past you'll feel right at home with just enough new stuff to keep you coming back. A great game for a great system.

My son loved the game and plays it frequently. Obviously, consider the target age group. It amazes me that pokemon is still popular after all these years.

Great game. Story is awesome. New starters are pretty cool. You can obtain one of the original starters earlier on in the game which is fantastic!

I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY SON THAT HAD TO HAVE IT AND HE HAS ENJOYED THE GAME EVER SINCE HE GOT IT. HE IS A BIG POKEMON FAN AND IS ENJOYING THE GAME.

So fun if you've been playing since Red and Blue came out or are completely new to the series. It's fun for people of all ages. Highly recommended.

A great version of Pokemon to get into if you're new to the series or have not picked up a game in a while. Like other titles, there are more pokemon to catch than ever and new features to add diversity to the gameplay. Also, like the other titles you need both X and Y to catch all of the pokemon between the two and some of the older titles to catch the rest of the pokemon.
