The game is great. It's fun to play, and the graphics are good. The only downside is that there isn't much to do after beating the game.

A fun addition to the series that feel comfortable to people who've played other Pokemon games and welcoming to new players. Get this game!

The 3D aspect of the 3DS makes the pokemon really come alive. If you've ever been a fan of pokemon games, this is something you should pick up.

Since we've gotten a new Pokémon entry. I'm writing this in October of 2016, and I cannot believe XY came out 3 years ago. Time has flown by, but it has been a solid three years. Y is easily the best main entry since DP, and matches Platinum for thoroughness. There's still time to get in on peoples' Friend Safaris so you can complete the bulk of your Poké Dex before S&M come out. The graphics trump anything you've seen on consoles (they're a lot like cel-shading), the music in this one is INCREDIBLE, Megas are super fun to use and revitalized a lot of our classic favorites, this game is a blast. X is too, but I'm writing about Y. Seriously, I love the theme songs from these two games. My favorites are the Xerneas and Yveltal battle themes, the Gym Leader theme, Diantha's theme, the E4 theme and of course Korina's theme. If you pick up Y, you get Yveltal, Heracross, Skrelp/Dragalge, Charizard Y, and Mewtwo Y as the exclusives.

This version of Pokemon is so fun - if you've played one of the previous installments, make sure you pick this one up too!

The gameplay is the usual classic pokemon that we all know but the graphics are greatly enhanced. It looks really good for a 3DS game.

My son received this for his birthday. He loves this game and it has amazing graphics! Definitely recommend purchasing!

Had not played Pokemon since FireRed/LeafGreen and decided this would be a good start. Excellent graphics, and a good story to get back into the pokemon spirit. Word of advice: look at a guide for the new pokemon and their types. Kind of hard to win battles with type weaknesses when you have no clue what the types of new pokemon are.

Amazing game and a lot of fun. It is very easy to get used to the game and there are not many times where you will get bored playing.

Has all the classic pokemon and a lot of cool new pokemon. The new 3ds fighting adds a whole new perspective and spin on the game.

bought this for my grandson, he really likes this game. so I would have to say given the right age, this is a game for the younger crowd.

I picked this copy up and haven't stopped playing since. I enjoy it just as much as when pokemon red came out all those years ago.

If you have a 3DS there's no question that this is a must own. Great graphics, music and gameplay. Refreshing for the pokemon series.

I have played almost every handheld Pokemon game and I enjoy playing this one just as much as I enjoy playing the older ones.

I recently purchased a 3DS since I've been missing out on some of the these titles and I'm finally going back to play them. This is a great addition to the franchise since Ruby/Saphire. It amazes me that they can retell the same story essentially, but change it just enough to make you play the new. Great game!

Much better storyline than previous games. A bit of a learning curve with the new diagonal walking, but still easy to control.
