Really great fighting game! Nintendo finally delivers on a great fighting game capturing the Pokemon in their element, combat! This game is challenging at the same time rewarding. I play against my friends and love to compete! Overall awesome game!

Pokemon was after my time but I love fighting games so I decided to pick this game up on a whim and I do not regret it all. It has a roster of 16 Pokemon which I thought was a bit light given how many Pokemon exist but after looking at the move list I realize it'll take a good long while to master all of them. I'm not sure why it shares a name with Tekken though as I don't really agree that it's Pokemon in a Tekken game - in fact it's quite different. It has 2 phases that you switch between: a 3D arena where you run around, poke the enemy, and collect power ups and then the duel phase which is a traditional 2D scenario that most fighters have where big damage is dealt and the game is constantly switching between the two. Anyway, if you like Pokemon I'm sure this is a must-have game.

This game is a great blend of pokemon fighting and traditional fighting games, like Tekken. Being able to control your pokemon on a 3 Dimensional field and attack from both long range and close up is awesome and feels great.

Nice addition to my son's Wii U collection. Nice graphics and tons of fun to play. You can play local or online, which is good, i can play with my kids for hrs. would recommend to any Wii U owner.

Aah my first gaming experience for the wii u and I'm so happy! I absolutely love this game and the arcade like feel to it - with way more moves and very detailed graphics. Easy to learn the controls. Honestly, it just having a story line is a bonus. The only thing I would like to see out of this game in the future is more pokemon choices - the creators did well to balance types and favorites, but being able to fight with more pokemon would be amazing!

Initially, I thought this was going to be a completely different type of game. After watching the first 30 minutes or so I realized what it us and knew I'd enjoy it. If you enjoy the tournament fights, fighting dynamics, and replay ability, I definitely recommend this game. Even if you're just a casual gamer like myself that just wants to do some relaxing button mashing, this game is for you as well. I may have given it a higher rating, but the roster just isn't large enough enough for me personally.

As a Pokemon fan for almost the last 2 decades, a Pokemon fighting game was like a dream come true. Sadly, the limited roster and complete lack of a story were a disappointment. I don't expect much of a story in a fighting game, but at least some cinematics and backstory like in the Tekken and Street Fighter games could have been present here. Good gameplay, but just underwhelming overall in my opinion.

Pokken lets Pokemon fans like my son, live out their dreams of controlling the Pokemon in actual Pokemon battles. Colorful graphics, high paced action and lots of unlockables.

My friend asked me to pick this up, but I was spectacle about it. But as soon as I played it, I realized how great it was. Even if you don't know Pokémon and love fighting games, You'll love this. The fighting mechanics ate spot on, controls are great. Fun factor through the roof. If you like fighting games then pick this up. If your more of a Pokémon fan that this game will be great for you too.

Got this game for my kid and enjoy playing it with him. Super fun and entertaining.

This is a wonderful game for any Pokemon or Tekken lover. However, the selection of Pokemon is low and it can get a little boring after a while of playing. I feel like it is a good mix between Super Smash Bros and Injustice in regards to mechanics. It takes some getting used to but it is definitely not too overly complicated for a teenager and up. I do not recommend for young children. Lastly, the graphics are absolutely stunning.

I got this for a Christmas gift. Have not used it yet, hoping that it is a great game for our Grandson. Got this in great time. Website is great to use.

This is an awesome game for teens got it for my little brother and played it with him and loved it. May get it for myself.

It's an easy fighting mechanic for casuals players to pick up and play with a little more in depth for those who are used to fighting games. The character roster is a little small but is expected for a first iteration, with 15 Pokémon and 2 secret Pokémon. Many stages, supporting pokemon and clothes for your in game character.

as a pokemon fan this game is really fun. the graphics are really good and its easy to learn the controls. if your a fighting game fan this one is a most have even if you aren't pokemon fan this game will keep you playing for a long time. overall this game is very well done and it is really fun to play and kick butt in..

The game we've been waiting for. Definitely a different style of fighting game. Only downside is the 16 Pokemon roster.

The graphics are impressive. There is a lot of fur detail on the animal ones. Combat system is different compared to most fighter games.

A fun fighting game, but this is not Tekken with Pokemon. It is still a very fun fighting game with great characters and a simple yet deep system. The only thing it is hard to not notice is how there are only 16 characters out of the over 700 available pokemon to choose from. Still a very fun fighting game.

This is a great pokemon fighting game that puts you in full control of the pokemon and standard attacks for button presses. This concept makes the game easy to pick up. My best advice would be to stick with one character because once you get the to chroma league your going to have some trouble, other than that a great game to just pick up and play.
